Poll: Choose (3) States you would like to see next

I wouldn't mind that pattern at all. So lets say Texas and Montana are 2022 dlc's. That knocks out the largest states in the lower 48. So now what. Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Dakota's, Louisiana and Arkansas are the choices. That could put 2023 at 3 maps potentially. Or would SCS stick with 2 and add numbers to the rebuild team first?

If we are a go for (3) in 2023, I'd assume we'd get (3) in 2024. But which (3) works best each year?
Option A
2023 - OK, KS, NB
2024 - LA, AR, MO

Option B
2023 - OK, LA, AR - surround Texas first
2024 - KS, MO, NB

Honestly I think either combination works as long as its those 6 with Iowa,Mississippi, Alabama and South Dakota or Dakota's combine hitting 2025-2026. Option B keeps a little triangle going on between (3) states. But this route could involve sector conflict with (3) teams the most. In columns, its only (2) teams sharing sector borders.

^That works to. So that's like Option C. I think of all (6) states, Louisiana is perhaps the most interesting with its biomes. But I think Missouri will add the best bang. I soooo want the cave underground storage in Kansas City. I think SCS can have fun with that one. There's a ton of unlimited space below the map. So the complex could easily be 1:1 with zero scale issues. It also depends on where Kansas City goes. Who gets it. Kansas probably needs it but its a boarding city and SCS typically pushes those to the next adjacent dlc. St. Louis can't go to Illinois though. So MO has the potential to land both Kansas City and St. Louis. With Oklahoma in place, I-44 becomes a nice corridor from Wichita Falls, Tx to St. Louis. We'd get extensions for I-70, I-40, I-30, I-20 and I-10 by the time all (6) of the mentioned states are in.

Finally Montana can officially go off the board. Ohhhh yeah.

Goodie, the poll can finally be interesting again since both LA/OK and OK/KS are logical approaches (relative to doing anything other than OK/MT).

Once we can knock OK off, it'll be even more interesting.

What if Arkansas and Louisiana ships as a single DLC after Oklahoma? Assuming Texas team is equal to three typical ATS map teams, it’s very well possible.

Just guessing, after Texas, ATS map teams might be made into two equal divisions (reskin team aside) so that each team can knock out two states at a time, so four states per year split into two DLCs.

Do you plan on resetting the poll now, or will you wait until after the next state after Montana is announced?

@supersobes Nope, lol. Polls are reset now. Hopefully we have our 2 2022 states. I can see Montana releasing Winter 2022 and Texas going for Summer 2022. Knock out those beast along with all of California and its down hill from there.

So with the first votes, I go Oklahoma and Kansas. As much as I want Louisiana, I think that pushes us a tad further East for a L shaped map. Maybe with Oklahoma, then Arkansas/Louisiana can happen while Kansas gets work. I hope SCS doesn't build all the states on top of Texas before going to Louisiana though. We'll need a break from the plans to bring in the biomes for Da Boot, lol. But for now, Oklahoma and Kansas makes a lot of sense. Square up the map a tad and we also get more of I-40 and I-70. Get to Kansas and a nice portion of I-35 is in place too. More flat lands and I look forward to an agricultural boom with the flatter Great Plains in view now.
