Poll: Choose (3) States you would like to see next
Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next
There is size, weight and height limits for trucks on those ferries
https://www.txdot.gov/driver/travel/fer ... dules.html
Incuding it, I only see trouble, pushing Beaumont too far east.
Unless Houston/Galveston is made quite a bit west.

80,000 lbs and 13'6 sounds like a standard load. Just no HH or ST loads.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

It also says "a maximum length of 65 feet" which means that sleeper trucks with 53 foot trailers wouldn't be allowed. You can only take a 53 foot trailer on that ferry if you have a day cab.
Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next
They can always take a 40', 45' or 48' trailer with a sleeper. Most flatbeds are 48' along with most non dry vans. ATS has a 53' flatbed in the game but I can't say that I've seen one here in Texas irl. Not that they don't exit, I just never see any. Depending on what industry will be in that area, justifies travel down there to even use that ferry. No point in going out the way just to access the ferry when I-10 makes more sense.
Considering ATS won't have as many options as ETS2 with ferries, I can see that short trip added. Not much time wasted at all. We'll get more ferry usage with ProMods than in the US.

Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next
Pavel mentioned he wants to keep increasing the release pace of DLC's... So one can only hope that we'll have the entire US before 2030. If you really look at it, it's definitely not impossible, because where there's will, there is a way.flight50 wrote: ↑15 Sep 2021 15:26 The US should be done before 20 years is here. That would suck if it took that long. Nowwww if you want to say North America, that is a different story. If the US could be done in 10 years, it could take another 10 years to do both Canada and Mexico. So ATS as a project could go 20+ years. By then, I'd be well into my 60s.
Re: Poll: Choose (2) States you would like to see next
Honestly, I think that 2030 goal is too optimistic. That is basically 8 years from now. Texas nor Montana are released and there is a lot more to go. In half that time.....4 years from now, that won't even be a whole 1/3 knocked out. In 4 years, we just might be 55-60% done.

If 3 map teams, then it is possible.
My 2 map team predictions timeline is as of right now, only failing on Texas. Pushing things forward with about half a year.
As in, it not a 2021 release. And it was a 2map team prediction I did late december 2019.
O wait, it is a 3 map team for states after Oklahoma.
With 1st state bundling not until Tennessee and Kentucky.

@flight50 You have seen 53' flatbeds if you seen a Melton truck as they run mostly 53' flatbeds. The axles sit further up to be legal for Cali, commonly known as a Cali spread.
