What if someone actually give SCS a few hundred thousand dollars to rebuild CA AZ and NV? I don't know the people who play ATS, but what if one of those people is a big fan of ATS and he also happens to be a millionaire... I mean there are quite some people who give money to all kind of kickstarter project, and there are also a lot of companies who give money as sponsor. So why not? It's not that impossible.

Money is not the issue. SCS has stated that before. Its about manpower. Someone could throw a billion at them but if there is no one to do it and keep pace with current projects, there is nothing that can be done.

I someone threw a billion at them, I guess they could hire all the manpower to finish the USA in a month.

That still won't work, lol. They can't just hire anyone. Not if we want the same SCS quality and standards we are currently getting.

Even when they do find mappers to hire, they have to spend time to train them with the map the editor and the work flow of the projects.

Yep, so that takes us back to square one. Just let SCS do what SCS does, lol. They work in a manner that works for them. We just have to accept the pace the work.

Not if they hire people from the ProMods team.

They too have to be trained. SCS has to implement their methods. ProMods is still not connected to SCS though. They are however great canidates to joins SCS. But yeah they too have to go thru SCS steps. They would pick it up faster and not need the vigorous training others might go thru.

Well if they really gave us a million dollers we ofcourse would like to move to prague. The reason most of us don't is because we like it as our hobby. Moving to prague is huge too, especcially the language barrier

Base map is not that bad that it would be needed to tear down.
Yes, it has bad places and it has very good places.

ProMods mappers?
Those are great. But, not all have thought about optimisation.
Scaling down and then choosing what to fit in the game, that is not the easiest thing.
