They too have to be trained. SCS has to implement their methods. ProMods is still not connected to SCS though. They are however great canidates to joins SCS. But yeah they too have to go thru SCS steps. They would pick it up faster and not need the vigorous training others might go thru.

Well if they really gave us a million dollers we ofcourse would like to move to prague. The reason most of us don't is because we like it as our hobby. Moving to prague is huge too, especcially the language barrier

Base map is not that bad that it would be needed to tear down.
Yes, it has bad places and it has very good places.
ProMods mappers?
Those are great. But, not all have thought about optimisation.
Scaling down and then choosing what to fit in the game, that is not the easiest thing.

I bet it does make you happy @Enjoyingorc6742. That makes 2 of us, lol. Utah and Colorado...Colorado and Utah. They were my hopes for quite some time. If SCS is able to portray elevation in Colorado, it is going to be one state to talk about for for awhile. Just looking at I-70 from US-191 in Utah all the way into Denver, it has a lot of bends. To me, bends is something SCS can get longer stretches of elevation in. It's the straight roads in which prevents elevations to match scale. At least with curvy roads, elevation changes can happen more gradual as SCS can wind the roads to increase its length, therefore giving us more elevation. The rock tool for Utah will kick it in gear for everything after Utah. I am giving Colorado 4000-4400 miles of road as it will have some good density based on its rectangular borders. Denver has an opportunity to be large. Especially if Boulder doesn't make it.

Wyoming and Montana be interesting watch scs blog in 2021 lol
Re: Poll: Choose the States you would like to see ne
As much as I want a boxed map, I think Texas will be too big of a money maker dlc for SCS to push too far down the road. I can’t see it going more than 2-3 years though. To much potential. Plus Pavel mentioned a guy is on it. I did some analyzing yesterday. This is what I am thinking:
2020 - Idaho/Colorado
2021 - Wyoming/Texas
2022 - Montana/ Oklahoma/Louisiana
2023 - Arkansas, Kansas, Dakotas
2024 - Mississippi, Nebraska, Minnesota
2025 - Alabama, Missouri, Iowa
2026 - Georgia, Florida with either Illinois or Wisconsin. I'd go Illinois though. It kicks in the MidWest finally and getting Chicago in would be sweet.
Explanation:
Pavel wants to get to Florida. 2020 states boxes up the map pretty decently. Joins the PNW to the South well. Both Arizona and NM are open pretty good.
2021 states, Texas will need the most mappers of all US states. It needs to come with a state that has low miles to cover......Wyoming. If the Idaho team goes to Wyoming, they will get done faster than the Colorado team. The people that make up the 3rd map team should already be on Texas. Then Wyoming team will join Texas once their state is done. Once Colorado starts to wrap up, half that team goes to Texas while others polish for release. That should then give Texas a full 2 teams. Once Colorado releases, everyone can crank out Texas. That would then give 2 states for 2021. Texas and Montana are the 2 largest states by area and stretches of road across each state. Texas coming with Montana can’t happen. Both are too large. Too much land to cover. Montana doesn't have the road density of Texas but it won't be a cake walk either.
2022. Is where the fun starts. Once Texas is done, there should be 3 full sized teams. One takes Montana, one take Oklahoma and the last takes Louisiana. No bordering states and no one gets in the way. The 2 smaller states could be manned by smaller teams for sure.
2023. Arkansas, Kansas and the Dakotas. The Montana team (since larger) takes the Dakotas. Oklahoma team takes Kansas and the Louisiana team takes Arkansas.
2024. Minnesota, Mississippi and Nebraska. Still pushing East, boxing up the map and fill in the Central states as we go. At first I was thinking Mississippi/Alabama combo. Both together could be about the size of Washington state in area and road density.
2025. Another step closer to Florida. I think working both Iowa and Missouri can work here if Washington and Oregon worked. This keeps the map very vertical with the East stretched just a tad.
2026. I will stop here with my prediction though because we can finally reach Florida but I'd try to do both Georgia and Florida to finish out the Southern coast. It won't look right going from Alabama, straight to Florida and then pushing Florida another year puts Florida all by itself. Sure it can happen but Florida is not large. Now it does have some density. That's for sure. But if preliminary work along with the asset team always stays ahead, we good.

@flight50 wait wait wait.
You're forgetting something between 2022 and 2023 plans.
Minnesota needs Dakotas. Wich will need Kansas.
Kansas before Nebraska.
Hmm, I think you misplaced some of the states, otherwise I think you're spot on. Sort of.

Re: Poll: Choose the States you would like to see next
Yeah! and to me it seems it's not a pushing to the east! it's kinda a united front attacking the east
I think one team should push to Florida to open up space for potential 4th and 5th teams! Plus it can be regarded as a milestone for SCS.
One thing about Wyoming is that although it has lower mileage of roads, most of those roads can be included without worrying about the game scale! But I'm not sure how much SCS wants to include! covering those roads is actually the easy part. most of development time is actually spent on cities! the thing about Wyoming is that cities even bigger ones like Cheyenne and Casper have very simple layout and no complex interchanges! so development time will be much lower than other states! however I'm wondering how many cities will be included in Wyoming given that Utah has only 10 cities.
