If SCS can get the licenses for 8x4 chassis, I think they should implement it. People are just gonna keep saying, ETS2 has it, why not in ATS. The comparisons will continue until both games are on more equal fields. ETS2 is 3 years older so it has the jump as ATS is playing catch up. I like the 3 axle look personally. Definitely worthy of heavy haul and ST. Currently my A.S.P. controller has an idle cab lift axle button that is just begging to be used.

When I was still employed a couple exits down the interstate I live off, I'd see piggyback cab transporting a couple times a week, that'd be pretty cool to see.

And I really hope that the shark cargo is an easter egg you can enable in a game file somewhere when it ships

I don't care much about 8x4 chassis. I only use 6x4, as in ETS2, which seems enough for special transport.
I'm more interested by new trailers and stuff to carry than new features on existing trucks.
And of course, as I already said many times, I want new trucks, so badly that I'm taking on my nerves myself. xD
But I'll be pleased with Special Transport in ATS.

Since the adaptation of 'dollys' you really don't need 8x4's as most of the weight is transferred onto the dolly. Most, if not all, heavy haulage specialists here in Oz only use 6x4's.

What I would really like to see in the special load DLC (and the heavy cargo DLC for that matter) is steerable axles on the trailers. Those heavy cargo jobs are an effin pain the backside going through a city or town.

Jeezz!! That's insane!.. Damn.. But it does bring to my head a crazy idea.. And maybe impossible.. SCS license with Mammoet now that would be f--ing awesome.. A real pain in the butt but damn awesome.. But getting realistic, yeah steerable axles would be great but I don't really know if us regulations allow that.. Us regulations about oversized cargoes are just so weird.. Like that double-axle flag carrier at the end of the trailer.. I call it flag carrier coz it seem it's all what it is there for.. To carry the oversize sign at the back and a couple of flags don't really see the point of that fin-tail ..
