That will work too. I'll take it. We just have to have a pickup and a delivery location and we good.

Would be possible that they would add them in with Washington flight it make me wonder

The trailer u mention above it

For the spechical transport

Also they need too replace the police car with a pilot car in the front and back

What should really happen is this....police, escort, load, escort and/or police. The short cut SCS has taken is to just have police along the route. I'd rather see the police physically block off the roads on those routes just like a detour/random event would. The blockades should only occur in the direction of travel though. IRL, they wouldn't be spread out along the route on both sides. But I take it with a grain of salt and just enjoy what they have given us. Either way, its about the fun behind the transporting the load vs what's going on with the police blockades.

the police escorts was an idea i gave to SCS because heavy haul with just pilots in the USA still need to follow the traffic laws where SCS has us running red lights and such
I'm on a mission to ensure the city of Pittsburgh is accurately represented in ATS.

Yeah, we can't be running red lights, lol. Police is a great idea. They should be leading a lead pilot car though imo. Perhaps the police won't brake check as much considering they have the traffic holding power. If they gave us a led pilot car, I hope they widen the range in which the AI sees us behind and not stop if they don't think we are behind them. Instead of a 8-10 width span, perhaps the pilot car has a 20' or infinitely span behind us. I like to take widddddde turns on switchback, curves and tight turns. When the AI sees me do this, the don't think I am behind them and stop in their tracks. On an incline, this hurts bigggg time. I have stalled out several times due to the police stopping on the incline.

I've seen some of the loads that are in ATS Special Transport in real-life, and they usually have a regular escort rather than a police escort. They also never go through red lights. However, usually where something unusual needs the right of way at a traffic signal (funeral procession, special transport load, etc.), a police officer will go over to the traffic signal control box and turn all of the lights red manually except for the lights in the direction of which the vehicle/convoy that needs to right of way is coming from.

Scania trucks are the best, but the Peterbilts are good too.
Road signs are just as important as the road itself.

Originally they had a normal escort. However because in the game it has to bypass the traffic signals, it was decided to make the lead escort a police car to cover any "legal" objections that players might have.

You mean have a police car or two in front of us, come up to an interesection, the two front police cars move to block approaching traffic, we go through the interesection?

That would be great and really cool to see happen but then somehow you need those police cars in front of us to either come back or be replaced from some other source.
