It'll be a great edition for the A.I. traffic even if you don't drive. Personally I drive VNL more than Lonestar and new Cascadia. It's not like I hate those trucks but I like driving Volvo more than those two. I'm seeing those especially in ETS2 community. Whenever a truck comes in the game ( unless it's Scania ) people are always complaining and asking their favourite truck. Putting puking emoji and never touch that thing. On that occasion SCS shouldn't release new trucks for ETS2.
I totally agree with the ETS2 part. I always found the ETS2 part of the community a bit rude/toxic in that aspect. ETS2 is getting the right level of treatment right now. Brands other then Volvo and Scania are getting some good recognition and the rate of content addition is also satisfactory.

I don’t see any reason why they should stop bringing the old Cascadia to the game. The truck won’t disappear from the US roads anytime sooner so not having it in game is an immersion killer. They have decent Detroit engine sounds too. So that would not make things worse unlike the VNl.

The current Cascadia’s dlc file has the year 2019 in its name. Given that there’s only one Cascadia right now, they could have very well ignored the year but they didn’t. The 2022 model is a facelift candidate and less likely to have its own DLC. I’m not saying they intentionally named it that way but I still believe that we would see the old model some time in the future.

And why not? Because it's a cabover truck? And not a regular semi?

the US would have it so much easier with the idea how Mercedes is doing it with the Actros where the tower is behind the cab, there is no real length restriction

The design with the tower behind the cab is already in use in the US by Kenworth and Freightliner for CNG and hydrogen fuel cell trucks.
