The aero roofcap seems to be a lot more common on SBA variants. SFA only seems to have it as part of FE/XE package.
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

Personally, I would love to see either the new Volvo VNL or the Western Star 5700, but I'm mostly just excited to see what SCS does end up releasing next. Seems like they've been on a roll lately.

Out of the "likely" candidates, International LT seems the most bland IMHO, but maybe that's what we need that with the unique, almost outlandish styling of the Lonestar.

Doesn't it seem like there is a pattern of SCS introducing new trucks at the same time that the manufacturer unveils a new model? The WS 49X, DAF XG/XG+, Renault T Evolution come to mind, maybe there are others. So perhaps the next truck(s) to be released will follow in that same pattern and just completely surprise everyone. So, would it be too much to hope that Western Star releases a next gen 5700 and partners with SCS for the release? ;)

Why you think it's something that we only get newest models and leave older models to history? We get next gen T680 so forget W990 even if exist on the production line??

Last MAN in ETS2 shouldn't come in the game then. It released in 2017 and 1 year later newer version came. So why it released in ETS2? They should have skip and add new TGX on that occasion. Current truck release of SCS is slower than the manufacturers. So if SCS would have release only newer versions, we always lose trucks because of that. I won't accept that as a fan

That particular photograph of the 4900 shared by Freeze338 looks more like a 5700XE, they can very well try to bring both the models at least back-to-back.

On that occasion we could also get Peterbilt 579 and 567, Kenworth W990 and T680 Next Gen as well.

@Freeze338 that’s the PACCAR release that I’m hoping for! 💕

I can almost picture the forum crashing because of that.

The aero roof cap is basically just an illusion that makes the sleeper look bigger from the outside than it actually is. (The 5700 pictured below does not have the aero roof cap.)
Well, according to their website there is a higher roof available for the 5700XE

Edit: It seems the 4900 can also have that option

Western Stars are heavy to begin with. The ultra high roof is a setup I rarely see and normally used among those that haul light freight were weight isn't an issue.

Even the Western Star website doesn’t have a single picture of the largest sleeper, the largest they have in the gallery is the 68-inch sleeper.

Also, unless SCS choose to do four different chassis length, I doubt we get the largest sleeper variant.

The ultra high roof 5700 is actually the only way I see this truck. Every single one in DFW that I see passing thru or at truck stops are high roof only. Deferent story for the 4900 though. Its always just a high roof or flat roof when I see it vocationally like car hauling.
