We won't get a 2016 model if there is a 2019+ model available. Depends on the license they went after.

By the way,the VNL 860 and 579 Ultraloft are cabs,not models ;)
If the new VNL and new 579 comes, they will probably have at least 3 cabs each. That's what i'm thinking.

Peterbilt 579 ultraloft and 579 the main difference is that the 579 has a replaceable sleeping place, separate from the driver's seat, on the new 579 ultraloft , the sleeping place is one with the driver's seat. 579 ultraloft has an aerodynamic body kit

That doesn’t change the argument either. Ultraloft is the name for the raised roof cab variant and not the truck itself.

The truck consists of two main parts-the frame and the cab, which do not change during operation or during purchase and are the main element of the truck model. YOU can replace the engine, transmission, wheels, trim in the interior of the cab. The 579 and 579 ultraloft are two different cabs, similar but different.

Agreed. I think it will come one day but definitely no time soon. There are a few critical models that should come before it first in my opinion. I'd put it behind the LT, New VNL, 5700, 4900, 122SD.....then the W990, new 579, new T680. Everything also depends on the relationship with manufacturers. We may have all brands in the game but that does not guarantee full cooperation beyond their game entries. Personnel in companies change, lost interest or bad vibes...you never know. Anything can put a halt to things.

With the new T680 and new 579, since they did not debut with ATS at their launches several week back, they can hold. They are new and they are not going anywhere no time soon. But the other models can be replaced or discontinued. Discontinued is the biggest fear. We lost a few of those already.

I’m afraid the situation will be more or less the same in the near future, given the rate the trucks are being added. I really hope they don’t discontinue the 122SD or 4900.

I’d like to see the new Peterbilt 579 alone a bit earlier, for Texas sake. Kenworth can wait. Things will hopefully get better once the 5700XE, VNL and LT are off the list. After that point, there’s less to worry about Volvo and even International.

@harishw8r I agree with you as well....

-it would definitely be sad to loose the 122SD and 4900. The 4900 is one of the last classics that is still in production that is out there. We lost out on the 9900i and the FL Classic XL.
-I totally agree on the new 579. It makes perfect sense to come for Texas but that's not a lock. I can already see people getting upset at SCS if it doesn't come for Texas. We have to consider that perhaps that license wasn't there for the taking.
-Yes yes yes. Those 3 models are my top 3. Those are the 3 I polled for. Anything after those is a bonus but those are highly demanded. I don't want to drive the LT, its just common and needs to be in the game. I'll drive the VNL perhaps once every 2-3 months. The 5700 however, yeahhhh, come to papa, lol. I'll switch up between the Cascadia and that. The W900 is always going to be my truck but I'm starting to mix in a few others.

^if the new 579 and t680 come, I think it will be an upgrade to the old trucks we have in the game. The way Renault t evolution came for ETS2 an upgrade to the truck we already had.
