as was often said, there is no prove, the agreement bewteen MAN and SCS was made before we even knew about the new TGX, SCS already had the license for the EL2 and 3 for years

I remember you said that it's only for EL2. Anyway nobody cares their situation. They should make agreement with other manufacturers like MAN then. Nothing is impossible right now.

Most of the fans are not happy with that model somehow tho. SCS should bring only newest models for ETS2 instead of ATS.

I agree that nothing is impossible. Not when other games are getting older licensed trucks not in production.

They talked about EfficientLine 3 in February 8, 2019: https://blog.scssoft.com/2019/02/ats-an ... e-134.html
This is the debt that Pavel had talked about in Wyoming Release Stream.

It’s bound to be like that, they bring only the newest -> people are unhappy, they don’t bring the newest -> people are unhappy.

Heard the were launching the Anthem over here around the same time as the Cascadia did but have yet to see one on the roads thankgod and only seen a dozen of Cascadia's too mostly in rigid tipper form. Just goes to show so far that there not going to be as popular to what some people think.

Marcello is right I did remember them talking about the EL3 being released at some point when the EL2 was released. And I either thought the EL3 or the Old Cascadia were the debt Pavel was talking about in the stream. But also in the stream he did also mention that they have quite a numerous number of truck projects in various stages in the works so it does look promising that we might see models we had ruled out or were not expecting.

But would be fitting it the 47X took over the release of 4900 for ATS then the 57X should be released before the 5700 as well.

Anything is on the menu. I've always refused to believe out of production trucks are out. I wouldn't rule out the 9900i either. That was mentioned on the sound blog and its out of production fairly recently. What if SCS inked a deal before it went off International's website? That too could be debt. Main reason why I made this thread viewtopic.php?p=1635326#p1635326. That thread might be valid now for sure. But if we get older trucks for free and SCS doesn't even charge, how can you not support their efforts. They must start making money on other things more frequently though. They did say they'd never charge for trucks and that may still hold up, even though many of us would pay. Sooo that just means they seriously need to add as much extra content that is not a truck to their resume. If trucks are free, make money on other things.

I'm a bit more optimistic on a few things than most. Trucks have been one aspect. Certain things....I just can't rule out or put things past the devs. 8x4 was another. ICC's is my current hope to get much needed diversity. One thing I can say is that they try. They seriously do try. Now they can't cater to every one obviously, but they try to cater to the masses based on what they have bandwidth for. Now we have several members that wouldn't agree simply because their gripes about the game(s), have not come forth yet. The game isn't dead though...its really just starting to take off.

That doesn’t defy my argument in any way. What if 5700XE was negotiated already and then delayed due to 49X? It’s too hard to say what happened behind the scenes, so anything is possible.

I do think 9900i would come someday, but the pattern in which SCS models trucks is stil clear. They had a definite thing to achieve and after that we got only one truck, that was an International. That’s impacts the addition of 9900i a lot.

There exists a rather unknown game called "On the road". If I remember correctly those develeopers mentioned, that they got the latest MAN (at that time) the EL3 excusively. Obviously with a time limit... ;) This would explain, why it came to ETS2 that late.
