I also suspect it will be the 5700XE, for the same reason that Flight50 also mentioned, namely that there was another WS truck in the works, or at leaat negotiated, before they started working on the 49X. That being said, you never know with SCS. Might be amother paint job pack for all we know, and I would be happy with anything apart from that (another truck, trailer, cargo, tuning are also really welcome).

I doubt we will hear much about it untill sime time after the Daf though, since they might want to hype it a bit. (at the same time though, they seem to be doing a lot less hyping for trucks so who knows)

I ’m not getting my hopes up on it being another truck. It could very well be a tuning pack or perhaps it could be the Texas DLC. Wasn’t the original ‘Pico Wine’ dlc up for some time before it eventually became Wyoming?

If by any chance the next truck after DAF manages to come before august, we would still have five more months for the year to end, which is good enough to add a truck or two. There’s a good chance that this might be the year where we can see more than three trucks (excluding Western Star 49X update).

@Bin_Cube25 Texas was already there in the DLC list, so it cannot be that.

I still don't think we'll ever get the current 5700XE despite I really want to see.

I don't know why but I'm expecting one of the newest PACCAR trucks for the next one. To be honest the next 3 should be 5700, VNL and LT but I don't know, I feel different.

On the other theory of mine is, it'll be LT or Pinnacle. Because ETS2 will release a truck soon. If this truck will also come soon with DAF, I think it requires less work. And since those 2 trucks requires less work since the share same cabin with Anthem and Lonestar, they would come. But if it's gonna be a late release then things will change.

I would love to have 5700XE. for the rest I'll be happy but not like 5700XE. I cannot say no for a new truck I'll gladly take it no matter what comes. Especially on multiplayer I'm using different trucks unlike sticking the Anthem in single player.

Hmm. I'm not buying that dlc removal. Sounds like they are just trying to avoid hype if its a ways out. It will pop back up again. There is a dlc that is on there for 2+ years and it was never removed. So removing it doesn't do much in my book. It could be hidden as well perhaps. I don't know how Steamdb works but that's possible in my book.

i think is more probably a new VNL, it´s the 25th aniversary i think SCS is planning something about that...

It would be more or less Volvo is planning something about it and wanted SCS included. I am sure all the other 13 truck brands under agreements with SCS paid attention to what Western Star did with SCS.

The best part about such additions are that we would also get the paintjob in the game. The VNL 25 paintjob is toooooooo good. I hope we get the VNL by the end of this year (in addition to the 5700XE).

Western Star has apparently become an old story now. DAF took things to the next level. I expected DAF to do something innovative and apparently they did. 3 brands down, all within a year. 10 more to go

Compared to Volvo VNL2018 and International LT, I hope that the new truck before August will be Freightliner 122SD. If two new trucks are added this year, I hope it will be Freightliner 122SD and Western Star 5700XE.
