Next ATS truck speculation
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
So far, I have driven the Western Star 49X, Peterbilt 389, and Kenworth W900 with high frequency. Because I mainly transport oversized goods in the truck simulation of the Americas, I will occasionally use the International Lone Star, Volvo VNL. To transport oversize cargo, I will wait for the scs vehicle team to launch the Freightliner Coronado 122SD, Kenworth T800/T880/W990, MACK Pinnacle, Volvo VNX740 trucks that I like.
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I'm also happy with W900. VNL + W900 are two of the most trucks that I use without CAD. Ofc with kriechbaum sound mod. Otherwise driving VNL is impossible.
I wish we would have T660 at some stage. I don't care the quality.

I noticed some of you were talking about the Anthem getting its hood fixed on page 425, but honestly I didn't noticed the fix, for me it's still the weird shaped hood as always, am I missing something?
Here's the current interior model hood compared to the exterior model

The change is only for the 1.42 beta. If you're still on version 1.41, you won't see the changes until you update.

Oh, great, I'll have to try it then. Awesome!
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
Looking forward to driving the Freightliner 122SD produced by the scs software vehicle team, Western Star 5700XE, Kenworth T800/T880/W990, MACK Pinnacle, 4 or 3 of these 6 Class 8 truck models before 2023.

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
would like to ask the following question: Why are rear fenders not common in NA? And if you want to buy a truck in real life, can the rear fenders be purchased with a custom rear bumper? There is an 8x4 chassis with steering wheel control in VNL, where he bought the truck driver that I followed one by one.(Special order)
More options for trucks would be nice. For example, paintable chassis and axles, shorter 8x4 chassis and 8x4 with steering wheel control. Back window and smallest and lowest sleeper for 49x.
And more animation. When you press the normal horn, there is an animation on the steering wheel and the towing rope in the air horn swings and has animation like a cabin accessory. There is no animation of the automatic shifter buttons in Anthem. It is absurd that vehicles with manual transmission are represented as automatic (R N D). But for this first you need a real modifier.

@Sametbey2 not mandatory, and the trailer will act as a fender.
Also, the laws here mention mud flaps, not fenders (hence why you only see mudflaps on the trucks)
That said it's not uncommon too, many fleets equip their trucks with fenders that cover either both set of wheels together, or the front set
For example, in that picture, you can see that the front set on the rear tandem have full fenders, while the rear set have quarter fenders :

On another picture you see a fender that cover BOTH wheels on the rear tandem :

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
That may be the case in Canada, but definitely not here in the US. Fleet spec trucks will almost never have full rear fenders, and some lack rear fenders entirely. In the US, full fenders are typically only found on owner/operator trucks and show trucks.rookie_one wrote: ↑20 Oct 2021 20:44 That said it's not uncommon too, many fleets equip their trucks with fenders that cover either both set of wheels together, or the front set
