Next ATS truck speculation
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
We’ve seen SCS unveiling new products from Paccar group, Volvo Group and DTNA (now Daimler AG). Just a matter of time for those results to be reflected in the other game as well.
IF the Kenworth is coming, I’d rather see it with the new 579 or after that. Even before these, I’d like to see the VNL and 5700XE. Both the models with the current quality would be absolutely amazing.

I think the VNL is still the most likely candidate for now. I would still prefer to get an LT and/or HX first though.
As people said, that KW post by SCS doesn't mean anything. They have commented on my Twitter posts as well, does this mean my tuning mods are coming to the game officially? (It doesn't)

The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

Freightliner 122SD and Western Star 5700XE are the trucks I hope to be able to use before 2022
Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
The official screenshot of the Kenworth T680 Next Gen was posted by Kenworth themselves on their Facebook page on 20 July 2021. It was liked by American Truck Simulator, which is owned by SCS. But actually SCS didn't post anything about Kenworth...
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
If that’s anything that’s certainly nothing but an experiment. People who react to SCS’ comment would be followers of both SCS and Kenworth. More that number, more chances of Kenworth agreeing (sorta) to let SCS have the model in the game. They explained this better in the XF unity edition release.

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I personally prefer the next Kenworth that comes is the w990. I play the game as an owner operator and the t680 is a more company oriented truck.
There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

I have to agree, that if we're about to get a Kenworth I'd prefer it to be W990 as well. But not because of owner/operator roleplay or anything, but because I think the new T680 looks retarded with this stupidly narrow, yet tall grill.
The W990 at least has some manly presence to it.

I also agree that the SCS’s comment on the tweet is to gauge people’s opinion about the truck making it to the game sooner or make another truck first.
