Next ATS truck speculation

American Truck Simulator will add a few more cars this year, whether it’s 1 car or 2 cars. We don’t know. If it’s 2 cars, I hope to add Freightliner 122SD first, and then Weststar 5700XE. As for the international LT, International HX, Volvo VNL2018 new model, Mark Pinnacle, even if it is added next year, I can still accept it. I am a fan of Freightliner and Western Star.

don't bother much with the 122SD (idk why you keep hoping tbh). Volvo , LT or Western star is your best bet.

The LT is a cute truck. It has one of the best driving areas. The dashboard is the neatest of all.

The 49X is more like a spiritual successor and not a proper replacement of the 4900.

As a FL and Kenny fan, I'd love to have the 122SD but I don't understand the constant repeat daily statements vouching for it. I'd take the 122SD over the 49x but I'm not going to talk about it daily. It in the poll, vote for it. That's about all that can be done to show desire for it. I like the boxy shaped trucks as they provide that more classic feel for me. I like the modern trucks appearance but what I'd rather drive in ATS are more classic style so that I get a feel for where my hood is in connection with the road and traffic. When the hood is so sloped that I can't see the front, it has that COE feel but with much much smaller window area to look out. Until a new classic or classic modern like truck comes that I can see the nose and sit low, I'll stick to my W900 despite it being an old truck in ATS. Its not about new model or better quality for me, its all about the right feel and the bond with the truck. Same reason why many love their 389's.

Assuming that Freightliner will launch the updated Freightliner 122SD next year, I guess Daimler North America may directly apply the headlights and interiors of the new Western Star 49X, and modular production will reduce costs.
