Next ATS truck speculation
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
Speaking of mass production, so is the new Cascadia, but the thing is both the trucks are so common in the roads, I don’t see a reason why Cascadia can be there but the VnL shouldn’t, there has to be a reason why these trucks are high in the poll results as well.
On a personal note though, I don’t want to see four consecutive Daimler trucks

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I am a big fan of Freightliner and Western Star. I hope to be able to open the Freightliner Coronado 122SD and Western Star 5700XE this year. My wish is to be able to open the Freightliner 122SD and the Western Star of the scs software this year. The Western Star 5700XE hauls a 3+3+3 low-plane towed to the Bellingham logging field in Washington State, pulling a log loader down the mountain
Double post merged.
If the scs software simulates four Daimler North American trucks in a row in the American truck simulation, that is also a very good thing. Personally, it is like this.

Hopefully in the future America Truck Simulator will add these trucks: Freightliner 122SD/Century/Columbia/FLD/Cascadia/Coronado, Kenworth T800/T880/W990,Volvo VNX740, International HX520/ ProStar, and MACK Pinnacle, MACK Titan.

^ I agree, International HX would be amazing, and since it uses the same cabs as Lonestar, it shouldn't be too hard to add on SCS side.

As a big fan on Lonestar interior, also yeah. However, I’m pretty sure the LT will be the next International and will be a long wait for 3 trucks from the same manufacturer…
I have approximate knowledge of many things
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I still wonder why SCS always tries to add trucks one by one. LT and HX share a lot of similarities with the Lonestar, why can’t they add them both at the same time, maybe by taking some extra time? I don’t think licensing talks would be a major issue, given one of their trucks is already in the game.

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I wonder, if we would ever get the HX, would SCS go a similar way they did with the 49X and would we get the HX in SFA and SBA variants?
That would be something really interesting to see, especially given how different the SBA and SFA look for the HX.

Idk... I rather see the LT because its been out longer and it looks pretty nice. (It even has a nice exhaust option too )
Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I agree with harishw8r. Many will talk about the spotlight and that each manufacturer wants their model to shine in ATS but I call bs. If its from the same manufacturer, why does it matter. Get the product(s) out. Just like ETS2 manufacturers are doing, they see ETS2 as a marketing tool. The US should follow. The 49x is the first and only one so far in ATS. The Lonestar/LT/HX are same chassis/cab and the Anthem/Pinnacle are the same chassis/cab. 3 trucks are half way done right there. Only the front nose of all these trucks differ. I am sure a few other things as well but a ton of the work is done. The cabin/sleeper is what takes the most time. If they are recycled by the manufacturer, SCS can do the same as the short cut.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.
