Re: Next ATS truck speculation
The difference is those trucks are capable of running long-haul while the M2 isn't even in the same class.

But they are heavy duty so nothing can stop you using them for long haul, while M2 is a medium duty: max 350 HP, max 1150 lb-ft and max 66,000 lbs.
I have approximate knowledge of many things

The M2 can be configured as a class 8 truck, even a class 8 semi tractor, but it's extremely rare to see. The most common configuration of the M2 is as a class 5-7 box truck, and so long as the GVW doesn't exceed 25,999 pounds, then you don't need a CDL to drive a M2 box truck either.

far as I know it doesn't have a sleeper so I don't see that truck coming at all.

In My Eyes, It Would Be Much Better If That Truck Comes
What Do You Think About This Truck?

I'm not sure if you can get the semi tractor configuration with a sleeper, but I do know that you can get the straight truck with a small sleeper. A friend of mine drives a M2 with a sleeper just like this one. If SCS ever adds rigids to ATS, this would be a great truck to have.

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
well I pretty much put him in my foe list so I won't see them anymore
@supersobes I don't know rigids for ats because you would have to keep changing it if you want to carry dirt or gravel or if you want to try to carry fuel have to find a service shop and replace it. would be a little annoying

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I think there really is a problem with the poll... There are a lot more trucks that we could have in game than the 9 that are listed in the poll. Take for instance the Kenworth T680 Next Gen. I know we already have the Kenworth T680 for a long time, but not the Next Gen version which I believe is quite interesting. The poll is just way too limited. It's like we only can choose between those 9 listed trucks, but SCS is not limited in any way to those 9 trucks. In my opinion this makes the poll completely useless...
What about the Kenworth T800? Or the Kenworth C500? And that's just one brand...

Re: Next ATS truck speculation
I think the next gen Kenworth and Peterbilt aren’t included because the original creator of the poll is no longer active, and an admin has to change it every once in a while (whenever one of the poll options is added to the game).
I think severe duty or medium duty are unlikely to make it in the game, but we could include them in the poll by having a “Other, please write a comment below” option.
