My main focus of Colorado is to see that part of I-70 around Colorado Spgs

@Skoot 1.37.0.92
Too many states to keep up with so we got Idaho, and now Colorado.
It would be great to see that section of I-70.
Now I see, thanks for clarifying.

I-70 through Colorado will be a must-have to drive... at 30 MPH to see this creation :lol:

@Skoot. Yep, I-70 and US-550 are the two anticipated roads in Colorado for me since the Colorado public thread popped up. In the meantime, US-40 got a lot of attention for my wishes as well. Getting US-40 out of Vernal and connecting it to I-70 will be a scenic drive for sure. Fmod will come in handy for the Eisenhower tunnel. ATS doesn't have as many tunnels as ETS2 has.

@flight50, I read that thread and I agree on that. Scenic and useful routes make the game. Got a little mess in my head tho, with "Million dollar highway" associating with I-70, lol.

Tunnels somehow reminded me that headlight beams are still visible through bridges, fences, etc. Hope that's fixable.

Yeah, I always find it weird to that light penetrates thru bridges. In normal driving, we'd never see it though. Its one of those things about the game we just have to live with.

Light penetrates bridges, I think that even Half-Life 2 had that?

It's been like that since day 1 in both titles...all to do with the light mapping and visible in many games; some do a better job of restricting views where it can be seen but pretty tough to do in the SCS games.

Even GTA V has the headlights go through bridges. Always bugged me about that game too.

Self-shading and dynamic lights are hard and resource-heavy, mkay? I bet even having full lighting in the mirrors would have lesser impact on performance.
