Choose the trailers you would like to see next on Trailer Ownership
Re: Choose the trailers you would like to see next on Trailer Ownership
Having checked out the livestock trailers, I think they were a little bit rushed. The outside is completely fine, but the inside just looks really weird, and not done very well. Also, there are so few cows inside.
I've watched this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QSBglqSpmN0
And I think it shows a pretty common style of american livestock trailer, the way SCS modeled the interior of the one in game looks impractical at the very least.
What do you think? Should the trailer be improved?
It would also be nice if we could get cargo like sheep, pigs and goats for it. For some weird reason, the trips with this trailer are always short too. Would be nice if we got longer trips with them.

Lacking cargo variety isn't a thing of the livestock trailers only. So yes, I would welcome more "cargo" for it.
I would also like to choose more colors for the trailer, too.
Otherwise I am really enjoying the livestock trailer. Great way to get to know Wyoming using this trailer!

The livestock trailer needs a top chop, it's about 2 feet too high!

Yeah, and what's up with having no 53ft version of it? There should be one. I really feel like SCS was in too much of a hurry when adding this trailer and they didn't do proper research. Hopefully the trailer gets improved and more cargo gets added to it. A better model for the cows would also be great.
I'm not sure if they could maybe add some animations to the cows, like them moving a bit back and forth when the drivers brakes, and stuff like that. What I'm sure about though, is that it should be easy to add some noise to the trailers, cows tend to moo a lot, even when being transported, and their hooves make a clanking noise as they stumble around in the trailer. These trailers should have idle noise when they are loaded.

@parasaurolophus67 I think it was, we'll have to see if they act on it.
@dahaka I agree there should be some ambient noise if the trailer is stopped. Hooves stomping the aluminum floor and some amount of mooing.

@Trucker_71 Well I looked and I didn't really see any reported height problem. Only the mudflaps, wot bug, and shadow bug of the trailer
Re: Choose the trailers you would like to see next on Trailer Ownership
The lift axle of it is also not operational. Not sure if anyone reported that.

I don't mind lack of cargo in trailers where you don't see it from outside (livestock included, since outside visibility is just a little bit). I want cargo variety in trailers where you see it from outside: lowboy, flatbed, logger, ...

In fact, these are the trailers I own, for that reason. Except these two because I like their design:

Some of the sidelights of the livestock trailer are also red for some reason. Isn't red reserved for rear facing lights only? I know thats the case in Europe, but not sure about the USA.
