Washington discussion
Re: Washington discussion
I'm fine with keeping the Fresno road, but only if it's converted into an obviously unsafe dirt road clearly not meant to be traversed by your International LoneStar.
Preferably hidden from the map, too, aside from maybe the western half if they stick a depot of some kind there.

Sora is on the wrong thread. )
I have approximate knowledge of many things
Re: Washington discussion
I noticed today that they finally removed the Alaskan Way Viaduct from downtown Seattle. Anyone know when that happened or if it was with the 1.43 OB?

I didn't think they would since it was already torn down by the time WA released but glad to see it's updated. Seattle is getting tons of new skyscrapers so I hope they're able to keep renewing this and many other city's skylines as time goes on.

Washington DLC release, 11th June 2019?
1.42 does not have Alaskan Way Viaduct.
from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alaskan_W ... eplacementDemolition work reached the 50 percent milestone on June 11, with the Pioneer Square and Pike Place Market sections left for the final stages.

Re: Washington discussion
As far as I know, they removed it before release, in anticipation of (or maybe in response to) its demolition in reality.
It might have made it to release, but if so, I don't think it lasted long. I've never seen it in-game outside of the pre-release blog post screenshots.

Re: Washington discussion
Seeing this angle of Seattle always makes me with SCS could add the hills and Cascade Mountains in the background like in real life. Driving through Washington, it's amazing how much SCS has improved their abilities to world design/building compared to this release (which wasn't even that ling ago). Lol. I hope they can go back and add the snowcapped mountains you should be seeing throughout most of Western Washington. In-game, very rarely do they show any mountains. ;D

Re: Washington discussion
Why am I thinking instantly Salt Lake City after reading that comment ?
Anyway, this is the screenshot of St. Helens on WA-12 and it's a great background.
I think they can add it, especially on Wyoming they have made great job with backgrounds.

Re: Washington discussion
When did they completely overhaul the Bellingham logging road?
Re: Washington discussion
Are you sure they overhauled it? That's not exactly a realistic road. It was created based on creativity and a video I posted back in the day in the Oregon thread before Washington even released. With all the other work going on with the paid dlc's and California, I can't see how they have the capacity to touch this road.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.
