Here are the pages from Rand McNally that shows UT-12, UT-24 and UT-95. The road does have a height restriction in one location iirc. Plus there is a small segment that goes thru a Fremont National Park. But this segment is nothing like US-34 nor CA-120. The yellow roads are STAA roads so most of all thru of these roads are legit. I remember when I was spot checking this route a while back, the route was very scenic and it would actually shut a lot of people up.

If you guys remember, the SCS dds file did have those routes as a thought. Now connecting to I-70 won't work. That would destroy too much of the scenery but we can have the rest of it. Other than US-6 and US-89 that parallels I-15, there isn't much else you can add to Utah. UT-30 connecting I-80 to
I-84 may or may not be worth it. All the other grey roads are roads that will or did come with the next adjacent state.

I could be wrong, but the lack of routes (or routes were truck can drive better said) in southern Utah is because this area has a few national parks, truck are forbidden . Of course SCS could avoid this annoyance of real life just as it has done in several other parts of the map, incluiding Colorado and its route 34. But that would kill simulation a little bit.

This was a really discussed topic back when the DLC was released. Besides improving SLC, I don´t think much else can be done in Utah if SCS decides to stick to real life.
There are limitations for the width of truck that can travel on some points.
And if looking at the map flight50 posted, then the dotted road going east/west is totally possible.
With only fines for too wide loads on 1 or 2 points.
The dotted route between Hanksville and Green River, for that there is really no space on I-70, unless SCS makes an interchange for US-24 there.
But that would destroy/eliminate some fantastic landscapes.

Truck width and maybe length limit on UT-12 between Bryce and Tropico.
I think I did add utah DOT pages for this and maybe more sections earlier this year, or late last year.

Hmm, I can not find that info?
Did I forget to post it?

Ok, posting some links. I was 100% sure I posted some of these earlier. But I can not find anything of these.
map links https://www.udot.utah.gov/connect/busin ... rier-maps/
Limited vertical clearance https://www.udot.utah.gov/connect/wp-co ... pdated.pdf nr 40 affects UT-12. Rock Tunnel in Red Canyon, +13ft height limit. There is a bypass for +13ft.
Oversize/overload restrictions map https://www.udot.utah.gov/connect/wp-co ... ar2020.pdf UT-12 and UT-24.
Secondary Highways with Additional Restrictions. UT-12 and UT-24.
Vehicles/loads 10' or less in width, no restrictions. Wider than that, need 1 or more pilot/escort vehicles, or even police escorts.
Length limit state regulations I think.
So if a truck and trailer combo/combos are 13ft high, max and 10ft wide and within Utah length restrictions, then UT-12, UT-24 and UT-95 OK to travel.

/edit:
https://www.udot.utah.gov/connect/busin ... th-length/
HEIGHT, WIDTH, & LENGTH
Utah Administrative Rule R909-2-4
The following are the maximum legal vehicle dimensions, loaded or unloaded, that may be operated without special permits on Utah highways:

Height: 14′
Measured from level road surface to top of load or vehicle.

Width: 8′ 6″
With or without load. Measured from outside to outside of widest extremities, excluding appurtenant devices as referenced in UCA 72-7-402(1).
If going for the max width on UT-12/UT-14, without police, pilot/escort vehicles, still would need special permits, if rules same as for highways.
So I see even less of a problem for UT-12, UT-24 and UT-95, between US-189 and US-191.

LOL....now the one in Romania has vanished as well....any bets on where one shows up next? My guess is Tibet, nearing climbing season and would surely get some good press....

The romanian seemed to be a rusty copy, of the pictures I saw.

@flight50 and @Shiva thanks for your input. Then it seems plausible bringing to the game these 3 routes. It would give us a very nice west-east or east-west passage through central-southern Utah. No need to connect it to I-70 like you have mentioned though. It's almost 300 miles route IRL, I wonder how that could be portrayed in the game.

Here's an screenshot taken from google maps:

The problem with the east end of UT-95 is that its intersection with US-191 isn't in the game. That section between Bluff and Monticello has been reduced due to map scale. You leave Monticello, go through a curvy section of the road in a canyon, then you're in Bluff. Where in there could SCS fit that intersection? If SCS tries to add it, they would have to delete something that is already in the game such as the canyon between Monticello and Bluff or maybe the city of Bluff itself.

@supersobes Both! connections are ingame. US-191/UT-95 is ingame.
Busy getting my Texas roundabitroute separated from other sectors atm.
Otherwise could add the location.
