1) When you look back with the benefit of 3 years of experience, what do you wish you had done differently when first starting the ATS project? (other than the map scaling business ;))

2) Over the years, have you made significant changes in the way your ATS teams work? E.g. more specialization vs. generalists, or smaller vs. larger working groups, that sort of thing.

Why did you choose to start in California instead of New York?

Why does Camp Verde in Arizona have extra road north of the city that does not lead to any landmark or business? Was something planned and then scrapped?

How did American Truck Simulator development started? What is the purpose of doing an simulator based in North America as you already did before when you developed the 18 Wheels of Steel? And also will you ever include Utah DLC in the list as the next map DLC right after Washington DLC is released? Thanks in Advance!
I'm a Filipino. Plays ETS 2 and ATS.

That's a great question. If you could start again, what (if anything) would you do differently.
Never argue with idiots. They bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

1. Ditto on rescale. Why wasn't ATS scaled to 1:19 as well if on the same engine and setup. That little bit of a difference adds up once spread across the map.
2. Why start on either coast. The MidWest is a bit more centrally located and seems more effective as ETS2 has started. Perhaps Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan could have made better base maps and then spread to each coast and the South..
2. Why no 8x4 or 4x2 configurations to match with what ETS2 has. Is this license related.

I have 2 questions:
1)Was it in the plans to re scale the map in ATS and if so did it set back progress on some states(EX: Let's say you built NM at 1:30, and when you reverted to 1:20 did the entire state had to be redone?
2)When you made this game, did you have the mindset to make all 50 states and if so did you think it would be hard to do?

1. After a second ATS map team was created, did development work of both teams turn out to be roughly at the same pace by roughly equal-sized teams or were there very noticeable team size variations depending on man-hour needs of a map, e.g. more staff from "Map Team 2" moved onto Oregon when it went into closed beta and closer to release?

2. Has the licensing issue proven much more tedious and difficult in North America than in Europe or is this simply because there were hardly any contacts to the industry in North America to start off with and you had to build relationships first?
