Lol. You will also have to stay away from this thread too then. Once the embargo lifts, beta testers usually post video footage.

I don't see anywhere where it has been said 1.38 is required for Idaho; Carthoo shared there needs to be an update to the base before DLC can be added but don't forget we already had 1.37.
MS Flight Sim 2020 - Alpha test team - Whoot! We finally moved to closed beta in prep for August 18th release!

Don't PM me for FMOD help, ask on the forum so others can learn from it as well

My sound work is only for friends from now on

I agree with you on Pic 8. I love how it has depth. But I love rock formations period. That view has 3 different planes of surfaces there. Does anyone know where is on the map exactly?
It's here.

According to Carthoo....yes. And that is the point I keep trying to make. I suppose anything in that could change to. We will see though.
Don't forget that a service patch to 1.37 is still technically an update. Updating the game doesn't necessarily mean that that it has to move onto 1.38. We've already received several service patches to 1.37, so there could be another for Idaho. Just last week when the FH Tuning Pack for ETS2 released, there was a 1.37 service patch because that DLC utilized options in the truck configurator that didn't exist in the initial 1.37 release.

Scania trucks are the best, but the Peterbilts are good too.
Road signs are just as important as the road itself.

- Strange that they made Capitol Boulevard a two-way street. That's a major north-bound avenue, and pushes the Idaho Statehouse off-center when it's actually dead-center as you drive north on the boulevard. The building on the right side of that screenshot is also a strange placeholder... the actual building there is much larger.

- Looks like Gowen Road is drivable! The last screenshot shows the large water tower just off I-84 on the south side where IRL there are a lot of warehouses. Going north from there, the street becomes ID-21, but as discussed, it's unlikely that will make it in the game (though it could lead to more forest delivery points near Idaho City eventually).
About Capitol Blvd, seems they have no accurate prefab for that intersection and did not make one for this, though it's not that important!
About Gowen Road, hope they add Semiconductor plants which is nearby!
Also I wonder how Boise area will look like considering Nampa, Meridian and Boise Downtown are in! Sure it will look interesting!

It's here:

The road that's blocked off in the screenshot goes to some large warehouses and an outlet mall (though the mall is pretty empty these days).

Micron's campus is pretty much on the other side of I-84, and just east a bit.

Does anyone know where Pic 3, 5 or 6 is?

I loved it, @Nemiro

Thanks for the location references @Vinnie Terranova and @KnuteOle. Ahhh, I see it how. That restaurant is the Burger King. And the rock valley by the water tower is the on ramp. Cool beans. That cool.

@Nemiro heck yeah we like it. We will like it even more when we get to play it, lol.

@supersobes, yes what you state is possible indeed. One big difference between ATS and ETS2, is that ATS loads a ton of its assets in the base files. Where as ETS2 is loaded into each dlc, if I recall correctly. This to me is the biggest factor to just going to 1.38. This is why in the forth quarter of the year, the ATS dlc comes out a month before ETS2 but ETS2 can still use the same build because ETS2's content is mostly in the dlc. Which is why ProMods requires you to have more of the ETS2 dlcs to play their mod. ATS won't be the same for ProMods Canada. Both games use the same engines, but are set up differently. Just like ATS has trucks as dlc. They don't require the same type of updates a ETS2.

I'm desperate to see Pictures 3, 5 and 6 in real life.
