Idaho Discussion Thread
Re: Idaho Discussion Thread
Thank you for the infomation harishw8 and supersobes , now much clearer. It seems Idaho is quite special regarding the weight limits and all that kind of exemptions, I didn´t know much about it.
I was looking for information about the US-95 and SH-55 in particular, giving how important roads they are connecting the north with the south. Found this article from August last year --> https://itd.idaho.gov/news/commerce-imp ... h-highway/ and it seems indeed that US-95 now allows vehicles up to 129.000 lbs

Re: Idaho Discussion Thread
I have a small problem with the event, I have already completed 3 shipments of big potato, but it included only one, but on the World of Trucks profile I see all 3, and also in the history of success in the game I see my 3 completed shipments, all over 100 miles, then I can't finish the event don't you know someone with it or do you have the same problem?

The 55 can also run the same 129,000lbs weight aswell, also another thing is that the US-95 route also allows Turnpike doubles now from what I have read and was also told by some local truckers in Idaho. That's how some of the Canadians running US/Can use this route for T.P combo's. I don't know why they weren't included to begin with since they can run around Idaho on selected routes in general including the I-84.LAFAYET47 wrote: ↑17 Jul 2021 22:56 Thank you for the infomation harishw8 and supersobes , now much clearer. I think SCS just finds a happy medium when it comes to states that can run multiple combinations and also different weights. I have noticed alot of the PNW regions as well as Montana and the Datoka's run higher weight on their state roads and highways compared to the NN highways. Same goes with trailer combo's Oregon only allows triples on selected routes throughout the state but you can drive them anyway in the state in game.
Then you also look at the amount of axles and spacing on your combination which will determine your GCM as well due to the BWF in place. It will be interesting how they go about Montana as they can run upto 130's or 140's000lbs on their state roads and highways but are too capped at 105,000lbs on the NN highways from what I can remember reading about it.

Re: Idaho Discussion Thread
@flight50 thanks a friend, I read the rules again and found out that the mistake was that I made only one shipment of a large potato from a city in Idaho, so I focused on meeting a distance of more than 100 miles, that I did not realize that the shipment must to be from a city in Idaho
Re: Idaho Discussion Thread
Wondering about the actual reason for the event. Did ID sell that badly that it needed a boost? Or is it because YS backlash forced SCS to delay WY?
