Not mid-July. They never release in the middle of the month. Before July 9th.

I don't want to be the pessimistic one here, but I doubt we're going to see the release day announcement before the end of the beta.
We always get a release date or at least release month during open betas. The beta ends just days or moments before the dlc releases which means, they tell us in advance. Typically that is 5-7 days and we are normally still in beta. SCS doesn't give out this info until they are like 98% sure the targeted bugs are or will be completed. If they are not comfy with were the update is, we don't get a release date. It really all depends on the bug reports and how bad they are. We got an update yesterday. Another 1-2 could come before this week is over which means Friday could be info day. We just never know.

Today's blog tells us 2 things. 1) no having to wait for Special Transport. It is being programmed before the dlc releases, not after 2) Challis is mapped. I wasn't expecting that one with Salmon being there. I guess the complaints in Utah got them to thinking a bit more about city count. So since Sunday, we are now aware of Grangeville and now Challis joining others. We could be looking at:

1) Boise
2) Twin Falls
3) Pocatello
4) Idaho Falls
5) Salmon
6) Challis
7) Grangeville
8) Lewiston
9) Coeur d Alene
10) Sandspoint
11) Sand Valley/Ketchum

possibles
Bonner's Ferry
Kellogg
Wallace
Missoula/Lolo 2% chance

Restricted routes (unlikely but still possible)
ID-11 - US-12 to Headquarters
ID-14 - ID-13 to Elk City
ID-21 - Stanely to Idaho City
ID-29 - Leadore to Montana line
ID-57 - US-2 to Nordman
ID-71 - Cambridge to Oregon line
ID-97 - I-90 to ID-3

I get A N G R Y when someone says oh "It'll come in mid-July!" "It'll come in late-July!" "It might be August". No, it's early July.

Well, today's blog made SCS a couple of bucks. I bought the special transport pack on sale. :)

Any thoughts about the screenshots? Three of the four are areas we've seen before. The only new region is the first one; the mountains shown are probably part of the Lost River Range (cool name, no?).

Also, what truck will you be bringing into Idaho? I settled on the Lonestar to be my main rig; I'll probably buy a fleet of Lonestars to fill my Idaho garages, as well.

Im thinking another week before release info blog, they don’t blog about the same thing 3-4 times in a row.

Probably a beta blog for each platform and then an Iberia blog.

I’m super excited about Idaho too, but it comes out when it comes out. Lol

I liked the first picture. US-93 near Challis.

To be honest I don't mind if Idaho is released somewhere around mid-July ,that will give me enough time to finish The Last of Us 2....plus,they can use the extra days to further polish Idaho.

@flight50, I think it's an active city in Nampa. Someone had said it before. Challis is perhaps linked to Salmon.
