ATS essential mods

Hi!

I just bought ATS + all map dlc on steam sale.
Now I need a little help with mods. There are so many great mods and I dont know wich one I should use.

This forum is very familiar and I know where everything is but it is still difficult to choose best of mods.
Now I need help what mod to use to make game looking and feeling better. Trucks and trailers are easier to test by myself. You can ofcourse suggest them too!

Here is something that I found by myself when looking at this forum that looked promising.

Traffic:
Jazzycat + SiSL's Trailer Pack USA. That migt be right way to go because I have all jazzys packs on ETS2 and I like them.

Graphics / weather: ( here I need help)

And then last but not least, what is best economy mod? I didnt like how easy ETS2 was after start when you could buy almost anything after few jobs.

What else I need to make game as real as possible.

The ONLY one of those I use myself is the Sound fixes pack. Never play without that one.

I also play with a “company” mod, but I think I just disabled the one I use because of so many warnings. Waiting for update.

I use engine sound mods too. Wilson’s from steam workshop is the one I use.

There is also an “SCS Extra Parts” mod I use, but I believe that won’t be updated anymore. Still works though.

An “immersion” mod is a must if you want more realism. Gets rid of the bright green icons, well most of them, and green lines for trailer parking.

Just check out the steam workshop, and don’t forget to check the comments for the ones you like. That will tell you if they still work with latest game version.

instead of eco mod, use just g_income_factor to lower income. 0.05 make earnings close to reality (aka unplayable), while 0.2 is my favorite "hard difficulty" but still fun value. just be careful on loans, they cant be scaled to it.

also.. "sewer mod" - the one that replaces the floating green icons with sewer plates in the ground.

There are hundreds of mods, for different tastes and types ... I think I'll be quick if I put my spreadsheet (Spanish, sorry) :D

None. ATS is fine without them. Nothing is essential. This isn't ETS2.

I'd say Harven's trucks are essential.

g_income_factor 0.05 is good hardcore. I play Quick Jobs until level 37 or so too buy first truck (~ $170000)
Now I'm level 197, two trucks, big garage and cca. $490000 cash.
Max, can you tell me if on 0.2 are your employee able to generate some positive income? I try to hire a driver but it was lossy (on 0.05), and after five deliveries I rather let it be...
