One of my favorite things I’ve heard since moving to Seattle is people referring to the city across the Columbia from Portland, OR.

Vancouver (not B.C.), Washington (not D.C.)

I think for now the map is likely fine. If you’re confused look it up and you should understand quickly enough. SCS is likely going to call it just Washington with the “state” (though maybe I wont need those quotes by the time they get there) being D.C.

Kansas added! Up-to-date blog photo locations for upcoming states also included.

No telling what SCS will do. If there is a city created with the name of Washington that is scenic before Washington DC, the suffix of might DC have to get in the name to make it unique. There is only one Washington D.C. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_t ... lace_names

@flight50 There are already two cities called Carlsbad in the game. Both of the names are displayed as Carlsbad, only their ID's have to be different (I think it's carlsbad and carlsbad_nm). You only use these in the game files and for the goto command.

^True that. Good point. I was definitely only thinking game files and not game map. Thanks.

Perfect @ads678 I actually love that order. I can work with that. Seeing an animation of it reallllly does help envision the road network and the order that it could come. It stair steps the map and keeps the map fairly boxed at the same time. If we can get something like that, we and Pavel get to Florida in a reasonable fashion.

Thanks @flight50
At the current pace, USA most likely will be completed in 2032, but with an ever-expanding team I hope this can be done sooner.

That's awesome to see and pretty much how i'd like to see the map completed. But because this is probably the best way forward SCS wont do it like this ;) 11 years though :(
