Wish I could snap my fingers and this is the game map, while still being this age...
Lol. Ikr. I refuse to use C2C. That doesn't work for me. I'd rather wait. Luckily I have finally gained patience with map releases. In the next 2-3 years, we should be at 3 maps a year at the least.

Wow, I just had a brain-fart moment. I would have sworn Hailey was in Montana
Well this is the US, so you know cities can indeed repeat per state, lol. I know that confuses a heck of a lot of people outside of the US. I am sure there are cities around you up in the MidWest that are elsewhere too.

@rbsanford. Well if Superior is that significant, at the least it should get absorbed by Duluth indeed. If Superior comes, I hope SCS only connects US-2 and leave 535 alone though. That bridge seems larger and I see the issue of Portland and Vancouver all over again. Vancouver is too far North and that makes it too close to Longview. I was an advocate for Vancouver and although its nicely created, 1:20 scale doesn't make it that friendly map wise. Perhaps in the case of Superior, there are no other towns that will need to be marked to cause conflicts like Portland/Vancouver so SCS could stretch it East/South a bit. But if having Superior means more delivery options and Industries, heck yeah I'm in for it.

In regards to no to I-535, US-2 is already in the game in Washington, I don't see SCS removing it. Lets get it from start to end which then makes I-535 obsolete since we can have US-2 get us across to Superior from Duluth. I am learning that scale doesn't work well for two cities split by a body of water. Lets see how SCS with 2 cities with water in between when we get Idaho with Lewiston and Clarkston.

edit: @Shiva. LMAO. I was writing about Lewiston/Clarkston and you beat me before I finished. How I ironic. We where both thinking the same thing my friend.

Problem with Portland is that it is sort of too north.
Those things have to be thought of in advance.

Maybe Clarkston will be scenic atleast?
My wish would be for it to have 1-2 depots or what the name is.

I-535 and US-2, I would vote for both :)

Texas isn’t coming in 2021. I believe Pavel said it himself.

@flight50 Trust me, I know all about the same city name in different states. However, I did check Google maps and I can't find a Hailey in Montana. Honestly, the only reason I had heard of Hailey was because Rumer Willis was on Masked Singer and one of the clues was Hailey and it ended up relating to the fact she was from Hailey, Idaho.

@Hslo. Pavel said Texas won't be next or soon. Pretty much Texas won't be this year, 2020. He never gave a year so 2021 could still be a possibility. If it is 2021, it will be the winter map dlc. It is us here on the forum that said no Texas for 2021. 2022 is more likely if we do get it in the next 2-3 years.

Well, Idaho is confirmed, Colorado is not confirmed.
(Although most of us forum regulars believe it to be Colorado next and would be absolutely flabbergasted if it's not). :o

Same here. I'd be shocked if Colorado was not to follow. Then again, we setup our own disappointment as SCS never said anything. I honestly don't see the issue with revealing the next 2 maps for ATS on the Xmas streams though. We already know a month of release won't be given nor will the year be promised (2nd map) but what can be given is the selection in which both map teams are doing. We don't need to know the areas that are getting prep work/preliminary work, but it would do a lot of good to indicate the actual state(s) that are in line to release next. Posting wishlist for both Idaho and Colorado on Steam would be more effective than just Idaho itself.

It will cause a major fuss if it's not Colorado as there's already assets

Somewhat yep. But it is still our own speculation that gets us there. Regardless, I am still 99.8% sure, its Colorado. I think it will take the crown from Washington.

The way ads laid out Colorado reminds me of Oregon a tad, just smaller footprint. Enough space between the road network to give a sense of distance. Looking back at Washington, it is a lil busy but on parallel road its fine. We wanted density and we got it. The East will get trickier though as most states in the East are smaller than Washington. A lot will have to miss the cut if we are to maintain sense of distance. But until we get there, we need to enjoy the open West.

Denser towns rather than denser road network is probably the better route at 1:20 scale.
