The definitions have rolling resistance values. I'd assume this affects fuel economy like it would in real-life. Only the Fuel Max ones have these lines in the definition's, so I assume the regular Endurance ones are just using a default value that doesn't need to be explicitly defined.

difference between ETS and ATS is because in EU you have exact tire measurement available for anyone - the labels. it is mandatory to have publicly and verifiably stated such values and it is defined what it means.
US do not have such thing. every manufacturer tells you he is making best tires in the world which is, of course, very reliable information. and we have to be careful to be objective because it is branded content and may clash with another branded content in future eventually. without hard data there is the only one solution.

which leads to my second point.
we would like to make lot of things but every deal has two parties. and generally, manufacturers tend to promote their top tier goods mainly.
Nobody can tell you anything about it. Those who know about it aren't allowed to talk. And those who talk know nothing.

You could design gameplay around what's available: rated max load and speed, for example, could affect wear rate when exceeded. Different surfaces could affect different tyres differently. Or just have arbitrary categories (B/D for long haul economy option, D/B for heavy haul, C/C for jack of all trades). If the only noticeable difference is visual, then what's the point of DuraSeal?

The point could be something as easy as GoodYear wanting for those tires to be showcased in order to license the DLC. Just guessing.

Even if that was the case, I don't think GY knew (or cared) that DuraSeal option would be exactly the same as the other tyre, visually and mechanically. It's SCS's job to make the choice between them meaningful.

Nice to finally get real branded tires at last (and not as mod).
I expected that for so long.
Thanks SCS and Goodyear.

In reality, the Wide Steering Tire Model(G296 MSA) seems to use a unique wheel. (Rim protrudes outward)

Will there be an opportunity to meet this type of wheel in the game? :?:

this is just an example image to show how the whole wheel looks like, it doesnt say in any way or form that it can only be mounted on this rim
