I don't know if I should laugh or if I should just face palm when I read those words  :?

Oh, well, maybe actually there are mods done in a week. Too bad they look exactly like they were done in a week. :D

To modeling a truck, a week is more than enough. But to enter it into the game requires very very much more time . (maybe with other people, it's different.)

When you know nothing about something, you attack and claim it cannot be done, while it is done ALL THE TIME.

If you are a full time competent modeller and cant knock off a game worthy model (you do understand what that means, right?), you should probably find another job.
That's 50 or so hours. Keep it in perspective.

Texture mapping is far more fiddly, but i suppose some of yall think one is talking about sounds as well in that week.. :ugeek:

There will be a stream to show off the new Goodyear dlc today. Look at the tires and paint job on the kenworth in the second tweet.

Nice way to start off the week. Friday was great and now Monday. This is also a Wyoming week or more info on 1.41 perhaps.

If we get this dlc today, looks like I've be jumping in the game after work is done. Unfortunately, my day is really just now starting. Its not even 10am my time. So I'll have at least 8-10 hrs before I can play. But since I work from home, I'll buy it right after the stream....and maybe even jump in the game to check out the dlc. I sure hope 3-4 others join in...Michelin, Bridgestone and Continental at the least.

Yay I can now look forward to getting stranded on the side of the road in game with a faulty Goodyear tire now. Just joking, not the tire make I wanted to see in ats, but official tires are official tires.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

^Same here. I'm greedy though. I'd rather have seen a 2-3 come at once but its new content and something we have been waiting on for awhile in ATS. For me, I'll support any dlc. Free.....is not always my thing. Sure mods are free and perhaps provide more variety. But what about people that don't use mods? What position are they in. Mods are not always high quality either. The biggest thing I love about paid dlc from SCS is they do all the maintenance and keeps things up to date. No waiting on updates or incompatibility. For me, that's its weight in gold.

Now with one tire pack coming, that paves the way for others. Then tuning packs...then maybe a light bar/beacon pack. All brands are in now so time to start mounting up the paid dlcs...licenced trailers and more industry cargo packs as well should be in the mix. These add on are cheaper than states so more people can afford them. For those that rather play with map mods, you can still add new content or just continue using mods. To each is own, play how you'd like but your support by making dlc purchases does a lot more for the community than stick with free mods only. The updates are free typically brings new features and upgrades. Shelling out a few dollar here and there for me just shows appreciation........but that's just me.
