If Idaho really comes out with 1.38, we should be getting the first blog with info on the new features no later than next week.
Otherwise, I'm quite sure that Idaho will go live with 1.37.xxx

Why would a 1.38 blog even need to be this month. SCS hasn’t set a date nor a month for Idaho. Phase one could be fairly small or targets only specific things. 1.38 doesn’t have to be as large for phase 1 to match how large 1.37 was.

I feel that a month should be taken into account for 1.38. SCS is still working from home and that will slow down thing, and you can't be sure that there wouldn't be bugs to fix. So if for example the beta is released at the beginning of June, the update will roll out at the beginning of july and then Idaho mid-july.

But that's just speculation.

I think idaho will come with 1.37, mainly because I don't expect 1.38 beta before june/july. This will bring a 1.38 release towards august and I expect idaho to come before that

The "Along the Snake River " achievement might be something like the Orient Express in ETS2. :D

They usualy announce it 7 days before the release, so I doubt. :D
Maybe they'll release it in a month.

I wouldn't read too much into any timeline relative to 1.38 in what the duck man replied to in my question; that was relative to FMOD and that there were additional updates in sound coming in 1.38 as well which isn't a surprise. I didn't take anything he said to imply 1.38 is coming soon or sooner than planned and with it being focused on graphics I don't see them releasing anything (even to the test group) before it has significant in house testing.
