But there's no point on delaying the release of fixes already done unless the fix is done including the changes they have to do for when 1.38 is released. Something that will fall in my second option but with the addition i didn't considered that they already did the job.

No point from your side, good reasons from their side.

According to Timmy in /r/TruckSim Discord, we will have a small patch still at 1.37 related to FMOD improvements!

Possibly this update would come with update for prepare the game for Idaho DLC? 👀 🤔
ETS2 and ATS are Hella nice!

I love ETS2 and ATS, but I like other games of course!

Yeah and that is why I think 1.37 went ahead and pushed out for ATS so that the team can prepare Idaho for 1.38. I don't see Idaho coming out with an update pushed out this far. 1.38 for Idaho just like I said all along.

I wish there was the ability to easily create custom automatic tolls like there was in 1.35 and earlier. Now, I don't have a clue how to do this.

If Idaho really comes out with 1.38, we should be getting the first blog with info on the new features no later than next week.
Otherwise, I'm quite sure that Idaho will go live with 1.37.xxx

Why would a 1.38 blog even need to be this month. SCS hasn’t set a date nor a month for Idaho. Phase one could be fairly small or targets only specific things. 1.38 doesn’t have to be as large for phase 1 to match how large 1.37 was.

I feel that a month should be taken into account for 1.38. SCS is still working from home and that will slow down thing, and you can't be sure that there wouldn't be bugs to fix. So if for example the beta is released at the beginning of June, the update will roll out at the beginning of july and then Idaho mid-july.

But that's just speculation.

I think idaho will come with 1.37, mainly because I don't expect 1.38 beta before june/july. This will bring a 1.38 release towards august and I expect idaho to come before that
