Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
It's not typical for any of the mountain passes in Colorado to have snow during the summer months. The parts of the mountains that have snow for most of the year are too steep to build roads through. Snow could be part of the scenery on the distant mountaintops near the horizon, but it wouldn't be on the road during that time of year.

Happy Thanksgiving to those who are safely enjoying a beautiful dinner today. Later this evening, I plan on exploring Colorado a bit more with my Peterbilt 389.
Here’s to another wonderful day and to virtual trucking!

@supersobes Back in August 2017, when I went to the Loveland Pass there was snow.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Was the snow on the road, or was it just in the scenery around the road?

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Very rare to have snow in the summer unless its like highest peak of mountain ranges. I lived in Utah we get it in August at 10,000ft elevation range.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Summer snow on the roads in Colorado is possible, just not probable.
There are places in the high high mountains, above where any roads are, that the snow and ice never completely melts in the summer. We call those glaciers.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
is anyone else having lots of issues for finding jobs between cities inside Colorado? has happened this already few times and it's turning me insane. It's not the fault of mods because on nornal cargo market everything works fine, I always find a job to the city I want to go, I don´t even need to sleep or move time for getting the job I want. By contrast, on WoT cargo market there can be entire (real life) days without a single job between cities. I'm literally sitting since wednesday trying to find a job from Alamosa to Durango, other cities which I gave up because of lack of jobs (and which btw I was waiting days too) were:
Steamboat-Fort Collins
Sterling-Burlington
Pueblo-Alamosa
I really can´t report anything because I'm using mods, but it's not the fault of mods for sure. I'm using the vanilla 53ft ownable reefer trailer.
PS: Job length slider is set to minimum, in order to having more chances of getting short distance jobs like the ones I want.

Being a heavy haul/lowboy/flatbed person, I've had to get creative with WoTr contracts. Almost always have to get a job out of Alamosa because hauling those little fork lifts is not exactly realistic on a on the triple 9 axle lowboy out of Denver. I'm putting it towards the people wrapping up their personal goals/new dlc related stuff.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
When you limit yourselves to (2) particular cities, that is when frustration kicks in. Remember the event is to or from a Colorado city. Which means that every city in Colorado will kick out a job to somewhere but you may not be able to get a job into a particular city from where you are coming from. So if you want (x) city to count towards the event, go there. Go to any depot and take whatever is available.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.
