Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
I find that when I have a specific route in mind, the World of Trucks server never generates that route. Instead, I think of a general direction I want to go in rather than a specific destination and take any load that matches that criteria. If you're looking for a very specific route, you could be waiting a very long time for it to generate, if it ever generates at all. Alternatively, if you're trying to get a city for an event, you could drive to that city empty and haul a load from that city.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Yes with the last cities of the event think out of the state

Office moved to Fort Collins, Colorado
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Yeah I've done that several times too. Especially for new dlc's. If I wait too long, I just get to a closer city along that route and hope that the next city inline, gets me there. I might refresh about 5 times max before trying something else out. If not, then my distance is as shorter bobtail trip to my intended city. I rarely have to bobtail but I will if I must.

@LAFAYET47 I could be wrong, but I don't think the job length slider affects WOT contracts. (But I am now going to test it.)
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Yeah that is exactly what I have done. Seeing I couldn´t get any load from Pueblo going to Alamosa, I had no other choice than driving empty to there. But once in Alamosa I just can´t leave the place without a load because it won´t count for the event then.supersobes wrote: ↑27 Nov 2020 21:29I find that when I have a specific route in mind, the World of Trucks server never generates that route. Sorry guys, seems like I'm just too stubborn, lol. When events of this type are in place I love to choose specific routes going to cities I previously decided, like kind of a planned tour across the state. I did the same with Idaho event and had no issues finding jobs if I remember correctly.
When no events are going on yes I can take whatever route or going to whatever city, have zero problems. But discovering events are other thing for me.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Anyone else having issues with WOT jobs not counting toward the event today. I did three runs and none of them counted. All were external contracts and over 100 miles in length.

Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
@deross55 Were the jobs to cities that you already completed? The event only counts each city once. You must take a load to or from each of the 13 cities in Colorado.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
Thank you! That could be it. I have completed 9/13, so I will need to double check.
Re: Colorado Discussion Thread
^What was helpful for me is that I wrote down all 13 and once I deliver to or from a city, I cross it off my list. Its easy to lose track because the game doesn't give you a visual for what cities you have done.
