I’m very much looking forward to Colorado. I can’t wait to take the 70 from west to Denver.

I really hope they have those downhill warning signs that say truckers don’t be fooled as you drop out of the Rockies into Denver

all this talk about western, south western, and southern Colorado has me wondering about Northern Colorado. the Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley area should be in-game. Highway 34 goes from Highway 40 in Granby, Through Estes Park, down to Loveland, then out east through Greeley into Wiggins where it meets up with I-76. although close to I-25, both Highway 85 and Highway 287 should both be in-game. 85 goes from Denver to Greeley and ends up in Cheyenne. 287 on the other hand goes from Denver through Longmont, Loveland, and Fort Collins before heading Northwest towards Laramie WY and I-80.

Will Colorado have log camps just like the northern states?

Colorado will give I-70 in Utah a *lot* more use. Right now, you really only use most of it if you're going to/from Moab. Having Colorado will really open it up to a lot more route options.

@Enjoyingorc6742 Maybe we can see it in blog images? I wonder when the first official blog post will be shared.
If we don't see it in the first images, we may never see it again.

I don't know man, lol. Looks like there are still some active companies if you google logging camps in Colorado. I tried linking the map but the url is wayyy to long so I took a snap shot (below). Obviously they are all West of I-25. To many wooded areas to not get anything out of Colorado. A site or two of logging should work well. I just hope its deep into the mountains to get our trucks some good action.

I am not sure how accurate this site is, but lets say at least half are good, that'st still quite an active industry. The thing is, if the camps are deep into the mountains and basically behinds the scenes, most people wouldn't know they exist. Just like the Oil industry. There some good oil buried in the mountains in Colorado. But just as anything, if you don't know where to look or unaware, then things go unnoticed. I am sure there is tons of stuff here in Texas that I have no clue about, lol. ATS not only gets me to learning the US road system and cities in the US, but also a little about each state's economy and culture. SCS is making everything an enjoyable learning experience no matter how you look at things.
