Knowing how route 160 goes almost through the corner of 4 states, out of curiosity I wanted to see if it was possible to drive to Colorado with all other paid map DLCs disabled, and, well...

Aww, come on, SCS, what is this? This doesn't affect my enjoyment of Colorado since I own all map DLCs, but it just seems a little bit cruel towards new players who may have only bought Colorado at first.

I would consider a bug to be reported.

The intersection between US-160 and US-64 that it connects to is part of the New Mexico DLC. If you activate the New Mexico DLC and leave the Utah DLC disabled, does it give you the rest of US-160?

It has been reported before: viewtopic.php?f=276&t=292059.

My opinion is that the missing link and the road to the Four Corners Monument (NM 597) should be part of the base game, since they are almost entirely in Arizona. That would also make the monument accessible for players who own New Mexico but not Colorado. Those players shouldn't need to own the Colorado DLC to access the monument, because it would be reached without driving into Colorado anyway.

^Agreed. It does make sense for 4 corners to be part of Arizona. All though NM is the cheapest dlc thru sales, not everyone has it and SCS can't bank on that.

4 corners, is in the sector called "sec-0015+0001"
The monument is road locked to Colorado.
The missing bits of road.
The US-160, that is not US-64, is locked to both NM and CO DLC's.
While the stretch of road that is US-64 "partly co signed as US-160" is locked to NM DLC.
"sec-0015+0001" is located in the base.scs file.

I think it should be possible to redo what roads are reachable from the base map.
As in.. giving base map access to 4 corners.
Colorado having access to 4 corners intersection from US-491/US-160
NM having access thru US-64 + base map connection US-160 to the monument.
This would depend on where the different road surfaces etc are saved.

It's possible to change dlc dependency, but I doubt they change it in the future! Plus it's a good incentive for players to get NM. Buy it enjoy it!

You could be right.
Colorado has, as I remember, sectors that are still in the CO DLC, but that will get transferred to the base.scs file, in the future.

Rt 160 - 4 Corners - is all connected in my ATS World map, tho I haven't yet driven on them yet. Sounds as to it could be conflict of some sort. I have all DLC maps including Colorado, and the latest C2C map addition mod active. All are work as they should. I'll have to get back in and get a screenshot to post of my map, but that won't be until a bit later on today.

BTW, the New Mexico map was an SCS freebee as far as I remember when I started playing in 2017. I know didn't have to pay for it. IMHO it's best to get all the SCS maps as soon as they are available. And, I believe doing so causes less problems with running ATS. But that's only my humble opinion, for what it's worth. ;)

GT182, IvanKuz did a test of what roads are accessible, if only having base map + Arizona + Colorado DLC active.
