Yeah some curve is probably okay on I-70. But between CO-58 and where US-40 come into play, that area is mainly were to take out the curves. I think if its more like a "S" instead of the harder turns, that could work. Whatever it is, its done. I think we have less than a month to find out for ourselves though. Nov 11/12 or Nov 18/19 are perhaps the targets.

1.39eb isn't cranking in a ton of bugs. Lots bug reports is not even related to Colorado as lots of that stuff was already accessible if you dev cam. You can't really report beyond barriers though because technically its not official. But most bugs, its all in existing areas in the game. Lowboys have their issues as expectrf and other things. But they have a month or so to figure it all out. Maybe we go full open beta tomorrow with ETS2 perhaps also goes into open beta.
If the Idaho timing is similarly followed: (up to the bug fixing, could go longer)

Seems that size of the Colorado DLC is 170 megas, means that it's the biggest map DLC, so far :)
How do you know what size it is and how do I find out for myself?

@russ99 most dlc's release on a Thursday. Although Tu-Thurs works too. But Friday is a no no. I'd never expect a major update or map to release on a Friday. That doesn't give them any room to fix bugs without staying late or working the weekend. At least Thursday's gives them Friday to fix bugs.

@ThatWeirdTrucker Its on Steamdb. Scroll down to Colorado.

As i said sometime ago, size in MB doesn't mean big state. It depends on a lot of things.
And that's coming from someone who doesn't even do maps,or mods for that matter.

Whoooaaa yeah, Oregon is the biggest so far in game and Colorado will for sure, surpass as the largest state in ATS.

(Colorado, 170MIB, and Oregon, 90 MIB)

Actually, it depends on the size of the state?

I'm not saying that Colorado is smaller than Oregon.I'm saying that the size in MB will depend not only on the size of the state.
If you put a lot of things in a state,or another DLC...it will of course increase the size in MB.That and i guess the detail of what's in the DLCs.

I expect the file size to change. Maybe a little, maybe a lot. But I don't see it losing 70mb and shifting it to the base files. Colorado has a good chance to be 100mb at least. I'm thinking the mountain models, the new vegetation, the geometry required to make these huge elevation changes eats up size. The Million Dollar hwy video was full of elevation and detail. I think Colorado is loaded scenes like this. If we thought Idaho was nice, I am sure Colorado will skyrocket to the top. I can't wait to see Steam sales that week. I always cross my fingers for a industry pack every since Washington brought in the forestry pack. Tack on that easy sale with the Colorado dlc and you get a $16 sale easily. Bundling prices could kick in for those who wait and you could get it $1-2 bucks cheaper.

Prebuilds and betas are ok, but no production release unless you have planned extra hours in the weekend
Btw in large production systems you actually want to release at eg Saturday to have time to do a roll-back in case of errors
Sorry, out of office

Yeah not everyone plays betas and the goal is to find bugs. The devs can get back to them on Monday unless they are major enough that a weekend fix is needed.

Considering maps and trucks are closed betas, Friday's should be off limits to public releases.
