Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
Finally, SСS fixed the hood on the Anthem, that's right now.
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
Everyone complains about position the hood but Mack's main problem for me is chassis that takes a lot damage on any dirt road. Even without side skirt that too close floor. I stopped using truck because that.
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
For dirt roads WS 49X and PET 389 are my choice.
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
@jcpinho: Mack Anthem is specific for OTR applications and even irl I believe it has lesser ground clearance.

Yep, off-highway usage the pinnacle would be more appropriate, that said we don't have it in game right now
Engine and Transmission compilation mod : here
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
Maybe Pinnacle will be the next truck.
BTW, HX would be very good too for dirt roads ...

Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
The same thing happened to me, I stopped using the Anthem for that reason, it is very tiring to fix the truck on each trip, it happens to the Cascadia but not so often.
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
I drive on dirt roads perfectly fine, no damage at all. All you have to do is drive on normal speeds (around 15 or 20 mph) and no damage will be inflicted on the truck.
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
I get damage driving 5 mph...
Re: Mack Trucks Discussion Thread
Stay out of the ruts in the dirt roads. Drive with one side of the truck on the shoulder and the other side in the center. That should help and you have less damage, or none if going slow enough.
