And if I put it too high up, to go over the bridge, you could notice it somehow very easily, because from this point you can see the beach, so that would be the end of the mystery.
Ah, gotcha. Sorry, I didn't realize you had already tried that. Yes, I suppose there might be some exceptions here where photoshopping maybe is fine.
Either way, that was a nice choice of location!

Now, where is this?

Is that the truck stop on the corner of US-95 and Schweitzer Cutoff in Sandpoint, Idaho?

I'm not familiar w8th that area, but the road on the right edge is a divided highway, based on that "Wrong Way" sign.

The place I'm thinking of is a divided highway IRL. And if memory serves me right, it's divided in ATS too.

That looks like it'd be it. It would be odd for somewhere else to look like this, but not this place.
Just saying that sounds odd.

@supersobes It is indeed! I was hoping the USBB truck would be a bit of a red herring, but there's no fooling you :) your turn.

Today was a rather stressful day for me IRL. To unwind at the end of the day, I put in a Phil Collins CD, jumped in my Freightliner, and hauled some loads. I found myself driving on a road that I haven't traveled in a while. Which road is this?

Damn. 92 degrees at 6:30am!
This must be in the Four Corners region.
Phil Collins makes even the hottest, most stressful days much better!

Yeah, I was also thinking about that region. My best guess: US-491.

Disagree. I think it's not four corners region but looks like CO-139 just outside of Rangely. On the photo, you can see a T-junction in the distance which looks kind of similar (together with the surrounding landscape) to the one in Rangely
if you ask me. Just turn left at that junction and you are right in the town.
