It’s funny I made a thread for that a while back and here is the map I drew

It’s funny how similar they both are.

Love the map, would love to see something like this implemented in game. There are files for the signs of I-880 and I-238 in the map editor, so a Bay Area rebuild may be incoming in a future update.
That is very nice. Can't wait to see San Francisco in the same quality as Seattle. :D

Now knowing I-880 is in the editor that means San Jose could be added in the game. It's also interesting that I-238 will be in the game.

Really do hope San Jose is added to the game, probably the biggest miss in ATS imo. There should be enough space to pull it off, especially if the Bay Area in the game moved westward into the ocean. Doing this would also allow for Modesto to be potentially added.

It will be interesting to see more freeways added to California as this is the state known for how many freeways we have.

A completely new California is my dream. Denser, more complex. :)

Unfortunately, the total map area will likely not increase vastly... but I hope SCS could make better use of it nowadays.

With Las Vegas rebuilt, and an area of it near Panaca redone with UT 56/NV 319, I would like to see the rest of US Route 93 redone in Nevada. It would give a graphically up to date road form rebuilt Las Vegas all the way up to Idaho, and also borders Utah. Could get Piche and Ely revamped or rebuilt too, and maybe jackpot. After that I-80 between Wells, NV and Trukee, CA would be great to rebuild, with perhaps revamps or rebuilds of Elko, Winnemucca, and maybe Reno. Those two things plus extending Route 95 from Tonopah would help Nevada a lot.

great point, i really hope the renewed i80 and also the extension of route 95. Tonopah was very good but he left with that strange departure for California to arrive in Carson City. I hope Fallon is at least scenic. Nevada has a lot of potential for renovation. This will attract many more players to ATS.

@CodArk2 I'd rather see I-80 get updated first before US 93. 93, while graphically pre-historic in most areas, is still adequate in most areas; easily driveable and nothing's out of place, and Ely, for being a base map city, is actually pretty well done. 80, however, is an absolute mess. Elko and Winnemucca barely resemble their real-life counterparts and need to be torn down and completely redone. And the Interstate itself is a wild ride; outdated intersections, sharp curves, and no shoulders. A rebuilt I-80 would make runs from Utah (and later, Colorado) to northern California much more attractive.

@Rockatansky6 I agree, I hope an I-80 rebuild includes more roads in northwest Nevada. I hope Fallon makes it in as a marked city. Nevada only has ten cities, some of which are tiny with very few delivery options (Primm, Pioche, Jackpot, Tonopah), so having Fallon in the game as a deliverable city will add a lot more value to Nevada.
