@flight50 While the visuals are nice gameplay has suffered with the microstutters and fps drops. Base map and New Mexico doesn't suffer from that microstutters and fps drop like Idaho, Utah, and Colorado does.

That's the culprit for raising the bar. The more the bar is raised, the more the performance hit. We don't have multi core support yet. That could help. I'd say after Washington is when mapping took another step up. The realism in rock formation was needed but it comes at a cost. Constant battling with draw distance and fps for sure. My pc isn't too bad with fps issues. I do get drops though but it normally stays high enough to not cause too many issues. My thing where the game is falling behind is gameplay. Graphically I am satisfied.

Larry71490, do you have ATS and ETS2 on your main drive? C? That way I have avoided most or all microstutters.

It also helps to have a SSD. Playing on a desktop vs a laptop can make a difference as well. Most laptop aren't high end gaming ready.

Which city will be the one in photo 3?

Remembering that the blog says: All cities will be rebuilt, but will reuse areas that have aged well over time.

@Rockatansky6 I think it might be Eureka or Redding.

I think I know where in the game world screenshot number two from the blogpost is. It looks like the four way stop in front of the Bushnell Farms that is half way between Sacramento and Redding. It's been a very long time since I've driver there in ATS, but it does seem to be similar to what I remember.
