@flight50, are you sure? It's been shown that only northern CA is being redone right now, so I'm guessing it'll be like the Germany rework in ETS2, which was done in stages over the course of several updates. There's been nothing to suggest, as far as I know, that phase I would come with 1.40, nor that it won't come with 1.41. I wouldn't discount the possibility so quickly.

Lol I think everyone here agrees that we might very well see the NCA rebuild with 1.41, which should be the update Wyoming releases with. I don't mean to speak for anyone, but I believe flight was saying we won't see the rebuild ~before~ Wyoming, but added ~alongside~ Wyoming in 1.41. We'll definitely get Wyoming this summer, I'm sure. Hopefully, we'll start seeing blogs for the NCA rebuild as well. We haven't heard anything outside of the Christmas stream and RacerToft's interview yesterday.

Yes, what Bedavd is saying is what I am saying. We didn't get it for 1.40 so that leaves 1.41. No guarantees there either but it makes sense to me. It may come with 1.41ob or it maybe 1.41 public.

I also agree with Bedavd in that a blog should come before Wyoming releases. So once Iberia comes, the hype goes to Wyoming and California rebuild.

Regardless hopefully we get a blog about it soon. It's going to take a long time but getting the base updated is going to be awesome.

Yeah I'd rather see a rebuild blog before Texas again. I am sure Iberia will come then another Wyoming blog, then perhaps California ph 1 followed by Texas.

As Wyoming nears, if we don’t see rebuild blogs then the likelihood of it coming for 1.42 increases. Of course I’d rather it be added when it’s ready and not rushed, but I’m also very eager to see that area redone!

Same here and I think your right. 1.42 would push to end of Fall which would mean a year of the California rebuild. If the rebuild is still considered as phases, I'd be a little concerned at that point. After a year, there would have to be something more to show. We saw several screen shots on the xmas stream already. But yes, it comes when it comes though. Although there is a lot of anticipation behind it, I'd assume it should live up to expectations for sure considering the time spent if we don't see anything until 1.42. It will be fun trying to find locations in California once that blog comes though.

I doubt the full rebuIld of Cali will be released until 2022-2023, if Germany is anything to go by.

Lol at first I thought to myself "2022? That's so far away there's no way it'll take that long!" and then I remembered that's only 9 months away... I think since we're only getting NorCal outside of cities it'll likely come in 4 phases. NorCal/SoCal & Roads/Cities. So end of 2022, beginning of 2023 seems reasonable enough to me.
