Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Well ... Let's just hope it comes out before Dec. 15th ... as I already have 2-3 other games that are releasing updates on that day smh

Why you spread rumours like that? There is no evidence at all and come on its 3 days later... The weekend is no working day... And why its so hard to wait a fiew days?!Knightrider wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020 12:11I think they don't have a date because its simply isn't ready atm. Perhaps some last minute thing got caught up and they ended up announcing too early? who knows.

i'm not spreading rumours at all. I'm just stating my opinion. When I said "I think' it becomes clear my intention. With all due respect, you should check what its the definition of spreading rumours.
And yes, there's no evidence - hence I was just speculating. I guess I can't even do this anymore around here.
and there's no part of my post that indicates me being impatient.

Recently on the forum, with ATS and ETS from the very beginning of the game and I know what and how it comes out, that's just a good idea (not mine)mackintosh wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020 12:17Are you new here? There's a litany of reasons why SCS don't do release announcements until they are 100% ready to release, but it mostly boils down to prior experience with companies withholding approval at the last minute. The Renault T and "old" VNL sagas are best examples of this. They have been burned, we have been burned, it's much better to handle it the way it is now.Beta_Project wrote: ↑26 Nov 2020 12:10I agree about the idea to say the release date right away, if something goes wrong to say so about it, it really simplifies our life so that we don't guess when any add-on or track comes out![]()

I don't speak English very well, and I use Google translator, excuse me

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Deployment days for SCS are, mostly, from Monday to Thursday. Why not friday? Because if something is released on a friday and an issue/bug happens, they have to work until very late in the night (or maybe next day) to fix it.
I read that a time ago, it's easier to work on a bug on week days rather than weekends or late at night
.
btw, Happy thanksgiving american folks!

@Graf_Boinenn exactly, one developer from SCS stated about this [releases on fridays] not long ago when somebody speculated about a friday release of content/update.

That makes sense for updates but I don't think there's much able to go wrong with a free DLC which probably doesn't even need an update alongside it. I doubt it will be released tomorrow though, they would have announced a stream by now most likely.

Yes. And its fine regardless, rather they take all the time needed for a smooth launch of a highly anticipated content instead of rushing.
