Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
I'm reasonably confident it will come this year, but I suspect that they may wish to keep the current blog post on top for a couple of days (and maybe put something between it and the Cascadia). I definitely don't think we're seeing it before Thursday; if we get anything this week, it'll probably be more of an "informative" blog post, like a release date or a "stream" that totally isn't the release date. The "not-so-small addition about to be unleashed [...] still based on 1.39" in the last post definitely screams "Freightliner" to me.
I'm betting on next week, probably next Tuesday, so there's still some time to fix anything that might go wrong before Christmas.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Considering they've released things as late as 8pm in the past it definitely isn't out of the question to be released today yet but it is looking more unlikely. I think there's a good chance it will come tomorrow or Thursday though (more likely Thursday) But as always we don't have a release date, so it is all speculation.

Wait ... when did they tell about an ETS2 truck?
Backlash theory? oh please, If 2017 the year for ETS2, it’s 2020 for ATS. And that wouldn’t influence ATS releases. ETS2 will also get its content eventually, and then the same people who said ETS2 ‘dead’ would praise about the same title, that it’s still getting new content.

Blog post but it's for Iberia and the new lighting
Take it with a grain of salt nothing is 100% sure
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Read yesterday's comments on the blog for any perceived backlash....all the comments were very supportive of the decision not to release Iberia and there were almost 0 comments comparing all the adds to ATS vs ETS....except for some moron who was rubbing it in their face that is

I don't think we will be getting it today. Oh well. I am having a good day regardless.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
thursday is a possibility
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Even tomorrow is a possibility. They can announce the stream in the morning and do the rest in the evening. No steam activity possibly indicates that the testing is done

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
It seems to me that SCS usually sets a release date when they're ready to release. It's usually a week or two ahead, the trucks don't just drop out of nowhere un-announced.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
SCS has never announced a truck release date
