I agree with most of this, but the 2008 389 didn't have a DEF tank

I am aligned with updating both the 389 and the W900 as a priority; they are what most people think of when they think of a truck in North America…there is a reason they were the initial (well almost) trucks in the game. They should be brought current to at least a 2020 vintage as there are fairly significant differences if you know the iron.

Probably worthy as a separate thread for discussion though and not lost in the midst of the FTL one.

I happen to saw a new Cascadia with a hood deflector. Is it aftermarket,or is it something you can buy directly from Freightliner?
If the latter,i will open a thread in the appropriate section, suggesting SCS to add the deflector.

Bug deflector you mean? I don’t think manufacturers provide that nowadays. Should have something to do with the sloped hood we get in the recent trucks…

Bug deflector on a modern aero sloped hood truck? Why? Not only it will screw up the aiflow, but I don’t see how could do anything. For a straight hood, yeah, but for a sloped hood, I feel it will redirect anything is hits right into your windshield, the opposite of what you actually want.
I have approximate knowledge of many things

I've seen vids where the columbia had Volvo vnl hood mirrors and the FLD also had cascadia hood mirrors. Might be 1 out of 100 trucks might have the unusual mirrors to see.
