Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
The truck is still in production so there is a possibility however it could be the new VNL or international LT that enters the game

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
of course VNL and LT are priority and it's obvious we'll see VNL and LT before 122sd. I wonder if we'll see a 122sd and want to know if community believes there'll be 122sd.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
This does seem like a really nice truck! It would be a good competitor to the Western Star 49X in the ATS world as it is geared towards the vocational market.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
The 122SD is very valid and imho, I think its the 2nd Freightliner that will come. Why? What else is there that is currently in production. When do it come no telling but I wouldn't say the 122SD is competition to the 49X though. I'd say its an option from the 49X considering they are both Daimler trucks. Now if we get the International HX, then that would be a competitor. It would actually compete with both Daimler models. I'd definitely take the 122SD over the 49X though......and yes, I want it in 8x4, lol. This truck fits the classic look I like much better than the 49X. Unlike the 49X, the 122SD looks better in the SFA configuration for me. It seems like the classic trucks look a bit better with a SFA.
Nice video supersobes.
Nice video supersobes.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

It would be nice if this came in a 4x2 configuration because the trucks that pass by in my area are 4x2 sleeper cabs used for agriculture

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Does anyone know if the video is aimed solely for the Canadian market? Or is it aimed to all of North America, with the implication that if the 122SD can handle the bush roads of Western Canada, it can handle any road conditions through out North America?
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
@axl135 I am sure the video is just like any other, its about wherever the video was taken. That is not a manufacturer's video though, it is a Canadian company video. A company can be anywhere. The 122SD spreads across the entire continent of North America. Its just that Canada has rough and rugged terrain and the video is just saying the 122SD is tough enough for that environment.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Man when I look at the dash in those pics it looks no different layout wise to the one in the 03 Argosy I drove. Only thing really is the extra gauge next to the secondary air pressure but goes to show in this case that if it ain't broke don't fix or change it. Thought they would of had a little LCD screen between the tacho or speedo like most modern trucks these days do but I like the old style still as I was so use to it. Even the clock is in the same spot separate still nearly 20yrs on.

I think the interior at the top of the page is probably a Coronado and the 122sd is the one here
