Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Another thing about the option to remove the lower window on the 72 inch sleeper would be to allow the player to change the appearance of the vent that replaces the window. On the 48 inch sleeper cab in ATS, SCS only gave us the option of having a chrome vent. It looks so wrong to have a chrome vent on a fleet-spec truck. Having the painted option would be nice.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
I was thinking the same thing. I understand SCS has a way of doing trucks where they leave some parts out but it was kind of odd to think that the 49x had gotten the option to change the sleeper vent and the Cascadia, being the fleet truck, is stuck with the chrome.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
The Cascadia has the potential to be a complete package. I really hope they add those sleeper window details too. I would like to see the 2022 variant included, for the digital instrument cluster and A-pillar deflectors. Some even want the 116” BBC, so why not revisit the model? At least unlike other older models, there’s no need of complete rework or texture upgrade...
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
I also believe the ability to remove the sleeper window would be great being the fact that many large carriers such as Schneider, Barr-Nunn, Go To Transport, J.B. hunt, Averitt Express, Crete/Shaffer, Covenant/Star/SRT, U.S. Express, Metropolitan, and many others don’t use the sleeper window (or I’ve never seen a real life example of any of them using it). The majority of Cascadias I see don’t use the window and to see that SCS didn’t add this option was puzzling but understandable.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
harishw8r I doubt SCS would even add the 2020 Cascadia, or not in the near future. It’s a shame SCS doesn’t touch their order trucks.
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Any model other than the one the got a license for requires one of 2 things.......a new license or renegotiating the current license. We haven't even had the truck for a 12 months and a lot of comments are coming in for 2020+ plus models. It doesn't work that easily.
Shame that SCS doesn't touch older trucks? ETS2 trucks got brushed up when they got tuning packs. There is nothing saying that the older trucks in ATS won't get touched at that time. To what degree is anyone's guess. We have to wait and see what happens when tuning packs come.

My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
there was next to me another ai cascadia while driving today and I noticed when I looked at it's door that the Certified Clean Idle sticker is smaller than the one on my truck, is that a bug I should report or SCS did this to make ai trucks lower poly?

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
I would rather have the previous gen Cascadia.Different truck than what we have, and i think it will be popular in ATS.
Between what we have ingame and the 2021/2022 models, not much has changed look wise.
For those who wants digital dash and new parts from the 2021/2022 models,i think adding those new things to the new Cascadia ingame would be better...since the look of the truck hasn't changed much.
But that's just my opinion,as i can't speak for everyone
