Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Did I say you said anything about chances. No I didn't. But you if that is what you get out of my post, so be it, that's your mindset. I'm simply commenting that there is a future that we don't know anything about and anything is possible. Old Cascadia talk has been around well before we even got the teaser in Sept 2018. So old/new Cascadia news has been around since the LB back in 2016. The LB is why the old Cascadia is talked about still. Its the only truck that was on the 2016 LB that isn't in ATS/ETS2. Technically the Lonestar from back then isn't either but that truck is a lot more like the current Lonestar than the 2 different generations of Cascadia's.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Why should they replaced? It's not making any sense. Did they replace old Renault T in ETS2? Or MAN? Or since they are 3 gens of DAF exist in the game what makes you think that they'll replace ?SuchManor wrote: ↑07 Dec 2021 16:30 So it does replace the current model in game which is... fine I guess. I didn't notice too many issues with old skins and mods being messed up on the new model. However, I did notice a bug that shows the entire truck skin on the new corner pillar aero deflectors so hopefully that will be addressed/fixed. Also I will say that I'm quite disappointed that with this update they didn't use the opportunity to add some of the missing stuff for the Cascadia that people were requesting so that's a bummer.

we were supposed to get a driver loft but they had issues with it with the accessories hopefully we will see it in the future

Hopefully they can get the problems sorted out somewhere down the line, it would be a shame if we never got that new interior at all.
I think trucks are cool.

It's a little disappointing that the 'Side Guard Assist' radar's modeling was not included in this update.
Like the front radar, we hope that external modeling will be implemented even if it does not functionally work.

After poking around in the files of the new cascadia, the texture for that arrow is at least there. So that’s a start

It was not included, because it's an optional addon IRL and in-game it wouldn't be functional, so there's no point in adding it.
The smallest details always make the biggest difference.

Doesn’t the International Lonestar have a bumper with radar as a configuration?

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
Yes, but in Lonestar it gives us a second bumper option. Otherwise we would have 1. On Cascadia there's already a lot of sideskirt options. I guess SCS didn't see the need to double them.

Re: Freightliner Trucks Discussion Thread
As you can see in the picture above, Freightliner Cascadia's A-pillar internal warning indicator is already implemented.
Isn't it strange that internal warning indicator are already implemented, but there is no external radar modeling?
How about adding a new side-radar parts point instead of doubling the number of sideskirt parts?
