Not sure where this really fits on the board but this thread seemed as good as any considering how many times it goes off topic ;)

I had the opportunity maybe 9 months or so ago to have a really detailed look at one of these and see what they were doing....cool to see they are the first ones at this target, especially considering the big boys in the industry ridiculed their approach very publicly after they received the funding from CARB for the project a couple of years ago. It will be interesting to see how their other project proceeds now that the small engine met the threshold.

Have roughly 25k miles on my Cascadia. Lovely truck, but I am honestly ready to head home to volvo/mack.
In a world full of swift drivers, I'm an O/O.

@Robinicus
Wow, that is a two stroke design! Now I'm excited to hear about how it goes with their 10.6l.

I had to sign a NDA so can't share any specifics but there is another project underway that could be a real game changer.....unlike Nikola, their stuff actually runs and they don't have to push it downhill to get driving footage....lol

I have a question : since the dash GPS in the Cascadia and 49X seems to be a tablet(it looks like a tablet to me),why it isn't an accessory rather than attached to certain interiors(interiors in the case of the Cascadia)?

I think it's because the tablet is part of the truck like it is on the new Mercedes-Benz Actros. You have to get the dashboard that has the mounting brackets and the electrical hookups for it, which makes it a different interior variant. The basic interior without just has a flat blank panel there without any of that.

Nope. The 132SD is a glider kit. It has been out of production for a number of years now. I want to say @Larry71490 said 2016 but I could be wrong. Or it was that he drives a 2016 132SD.

It hasn't been available as a new truck for almost a decade...only as a glider
