lol I just want to see them in-game and have like 2 in the fleet, I hope it shows up in the AI a lot lol. Too many previous gens on the road

If i see more than i expect,that's good i guess.Yeah good i guess,because it will depend on what those customization options will be.
One of the top things i would like,is different engines and gearboxes.You know,i want different engines and gearbox for different types of applications.
I'm not the one to put the top engine and gearbox just for pulling like 35,000 lbs.

I agree with @Virgo91 I wish we had a seperate tab for real ratios as they should be independent of the transmission. We should have all ratios between 2.64 and 4.11.

Why have a seperate tab when the current ones can just be made more realistic. I just came to terms not to long ago understanding what higher rears can do. If 3.55 is the highest, perhaps SCS goes back in and adds another step or two to get to the higher rears. Colorado could be the state that causes that action. I'd like to assume that Wyoming and Montana depict elevation a lot better than previous dlc as well so doing a truck tweak to all trucks can help pulling action. But more hp engines out of spec in NA for ATS is not the answer.
My post are only thoughts and ideas. Don't assume it makes ATS.

We do need higher ratios not just 3.55 but 3.96 or a 4.11
Take it with a grain of salt nothing is 100% sure

I have 3.58s in my truck also rears are made not only by Eaton but Spicer and Meritor as well. So the ratios aee slighty different. Spicer I believe uses 3.55 while Eaton uses 3.58.
@flight50 that way you can spec each truck for its job.
If I have a heavy haul truck I would spec a 18 speed with 3.90s or 4.11s.
If I run general freight I would spec a 13 speed with 3.58 or 3.70. Might even go with a 3.36.
The 3.25 in the 18 speed needs to be atleast a 3.55 for heavy hauling this way the truck is cruising at 1500 rpm vs 1300 rpm.
In real life I pull better and get my best fuel mileage cruising at 1500 rpm. When pulling mountains I like to pull at 1600 to 1700 rpm. I take all my shifts at 2100 rpm as Detroits like to be ran high anyway. Progessive shifting in my opinion burns more fuel.
I don't care what anyone says lugging is bad for a diesel period. I don't get why everyone associates higer rpms with lousy fuel mileage when that is far from reality.

I think Differentials should have its own tab like transmissions.

I actually like that idea. Differentials and axles could be their own things, making the drivetrain completely modular and allowing the player to spec their truck for a specific application. In ETS2, they at least give you some options in the transmission tab, but in ATS, you're stuck with what they give you based on the transmission type you want. For example, the Scania I drive in ETS2 has a few different options for the 12 speed transmission with different ratios and differentials, but in ATS, if you want a particular type of transmission such as the 13 speed or 18 speed, you only get one option.
