Yeah I agree. WS did put SCS's promo for the 49X on their social media at least. I'd imagine that most in WS perhaps are not aware of ATS. Even if they are, they may not be concerned. What would be cool though is if WS emailed SCS's promo company wide for people to at least watch the promo virtually. Not everyone is qualified to drive it in real life. But everyone can drive it virtually. Some people could get turned onto ATS that way. You also never know who has kids that could be interested or even other family members. Its sort of like getting a key code for one of the games and you giving it to a friend that doesn't have the game. Word of mouth basically.

If more companies did this for new trucks moving forward, that is even more exposure for SCS. That goes for both ATS and ETS2.

I honestly wondered what would the 49x look like if it had side skirts on the fuel tanks

I like side shirts, lol. But considering its vocational, its probably not in scope. The steps do protrude out a little. OTR trucks are typically the ones with side skirts though. They don't typically do the off road duties that vocational would have to endure.

10000 miles. Is the perfect truck for overweight and oversize. I LOVE IT :D

Drove almost 10000 miles in the first 49X, swapped to the second truck and finally saw one in AI traffic lol. Took forever to see an AI driving it. So far I really like this truck, the sound mods kinda help it.

Short trip with 49X log load, Newport,OR. 8X4 mod, Kriechbaum sound Mega Pack 3.2, modified SISL's SCS Mega Pack, Forest Equipment DLC . Love this truck. Thanks SCS and WS/Daimler.
I'm curious how many of their models we'll get. Some very cool trucks in their product line. 8-)

Nice video @Roadkill. There are a lot of people choosing to go with a 8x4 49X. I hope SCS highly considers this. If its about not having others, the W900 and the 389 raised their hands to get the lift axle. I saw them with their hands raised back in 2017 when HH came. They raised their hands again in 2018 when ST came. Maybe if they raise their hands for a 3rd time, they can get called on. :D

Chances are that Freightliner will come with the cascadia for 1.39 with the prefab in for the beta however it's still unknown territory if we get the new or old cascadia or both my expectation is that they are going to release the new cascadia for ATS and the new cascadia only but with pico wine it is still not known whether it's the old cascadia or a licensed trailer
